Guero by Beck
Feb 10 2026

The beats are good, the vocals border on mediocre and lazy.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 11 2026

I didn't think I liked reggae but this is better than I realized. I thought reggae was repetitive but it's not.

Too much drumming

The Boatman's Call by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Feb 25 2026

I'm actually a very big fan of Nick Cave in his Jubilee Street and onward era, I think Religious Nick Cave is much more interesting than the older stuff. Boatman's Call has hints of what's to come, but it's lazy and kind of drones in places and the PJ Harvey songs are way overrated. Into My Arms is a wonderful song and is a true example of what Nick Cave can be when he's being his real self, which is what the later albums reflect.

BEYONCÉ by Beyoncé
Mar 01 2026

I'm not listening to Beyonce. Why promote mainstream trash albums that already get so much unwarranted attention? This isn't art.

London Calling by The Clash
Mar 02 2026

I mostly don't like mainstream punk because it sounds sort of bland, but I like this ok, it has some reggae elements to it.
