Too long and too loose for me, just never really grabbed me. They were pioneers maybe

This was great love his tone and none of the songs are boring. Super dynamic and fun and awesome. I would only say is one thing for me is that im not in love with one song in particular

How have we had the same problems for 60 years breh these guys were woke as hell… and made fire music. I love the contrast w the dark lyrics and beautiful/wacky songs

Ugh… the guy cannot sing and the harmonica solos blow up my eardrums… unfortunately however I get the appeal and the music itself is pretty solid. Bordering on 2 but 3 because I think I’m biased

This was a 3 until the esoteric instrumental bits at the end. Frickin lovely beautiful tunes that are elegant and emotional

Man for 1988 this is insane, intro track is so nutty. Songs can def be shorter but it was a different time and this album was revolutionary in many ways so mad respect

Elite level storytelling and great music go to with it. Never bored on this one, super great.

I gotta say, this was very very well made for what it is. The production is super clean, with some pretty rich and full instrumentals. Doesn’t push any boundaries, but does a great job of being what it is.

Geddy Lee is so fuckin goated man. Each song is so damn electric and the quit bits are all mystical.. rush is so fire.

Genuinely elite. This album could be cut in half and still be elite. So many great songs on one album and the ones in between are very very solid.

Pretty elite electronic music, production is pretty great for its time. That being said it does sound a bit like dance dance revolution. (Listened to version from youtube since the Spotify one seemed wrong)

Good and I can see how they have influenced other musicians afterwards, love the synths. That being said, I feel like it didn’t really have any standouts.

This was pretty elite. Super curious about the lore for this one, if I could I’d give this 4.5. Super psychedelic but not annoyingly so, very well done

There’s some generational hits in here that are elite on all levels, however I think this album could’ve been probably 20 minutes shorter and just as elite, a lot of songs were okay and dragged on.

Okay this is actually awesome.. the fucking guitar tone is so good, like that shit rips like a chainsaw but is also so fluid. Not to mention for 1979 this sound is so ahead of its time. The songs dont overstay their welcome like some of these other older punk albums. Minus a star just because the vocals aren’t for me

It was good, but it didn't particularly blow me away. I had higher expectations it seems but maybe I don't quite have the ear for it either.

So bomb. Psychedelic beats but done in a way that feels fresh, hypnotic drum loops and suuuuuch good sampling. Easy 5.

Me and Steven agreed to give this 4 and 5 so it comes out to 4.5 This one was pretty fuckin great, beautiful vocals over some real classic lovely instrumentation. Something I would make a tasty dinner to.

Perfectly fine, perhaps something I would listen if I had a mansion and a room exclusively for birds… an aviary? Idk but it had some cool experimental bits… pigtails? Pretty weird vibe.

Oozes an aura of insincerity. Not particularly heavy or groovy, lyrics are incredibly uncreative and offensive in the least tasteful way possible. It seems like he thinks people don’t like him for his profanity, but in reality it’s just because his music is pathetically garbage. 1 star for the king of chuds.

Lowkey I thought the skits were too much… but not too much to make this less than a 5

Okay I can forgive irritating vocals (germs my beloved) but not when the instrumentals are equally ass. This whole album feels super theatrical but not in a good way and always seems to be building to the most underwhelming and booty drops ever. ZERO stars would rather listen to rock bottom

Just raw and sick ass vocals and awesome guitars. Not as many hits but great energy throughout the album

I get it 100%… to make that many songs is really impressive. However I do think a lot of art benefits from being concise and only containing what needs to be there. But also the whole point of this project was to be a shit ton of songs. I’m gonna settle with a three

4.5 tbh As with many prog albums first half carries. Tarkus (the 20 min song) always has a special place in my heart
