Great album, very listenable, not a single bad song. Bit corny but maybe a product of the times
Good, artistically interesting album, never heard it before. Not exactly my cup of tea though.
Maybe doesn't have the most artistic merit but lots of fun. Hells Bells and Shoot to Thrill are my favourite on here.
A few of these are great, a few really bad. Quite like The Way You Make Me Feel and Man in the Mirror. Bad and Smooth Criminal are good but super overplayed.
Fantastic soul album, a few really memorable tracks. More of something to put on in the background for me personally but a great vibe all around.
Love me some CCR, solid album overall. Graveyard Train is hella long though.
Favourite Christmas song is on here. Other than that a few good songs but not really my style of music.
Some great riffs and digging the music itself but man are some of these lyrics corny as hell. I like some Rush songs but this album falls a bit flat for me. Listening to Moving Pictures now and its much better.
Artistically interesting and unique. Enjoyed listening to this once but can't really imagine wanting to throw it on and listen again. Maybe just not really my jam.
Liked this album quite a bit, very long though with some not great songs in there. Personally like the interlude skit style.
Never actually listened to this one in full before, love it.
Not bad, great voice.
Going to California must be one of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs
Interesting, 2.5 but I guess I'll have to give it one or the other. Wasn't very familiar with the band before this, listening to some of their other work its wild how varied their music is.
Ha maybe not everyone's cup of tea but I love this shit
Never really listened to Pulp before. A few songs I don't like, a few are really great.
Dig it
3.5, cool album
Agree with another review of this I read, beats are great but the lyrics are bad and lacking in substance.
Reading up on The Smiths, I didn't realize Morrisey was such a problematic figure. Like this style of music and most of their songs though, particularly the well known "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out". 1/5 lead singer, 4/5 album.
Fun album, pretty weird but in a good way
Cool
Like Ella Fitzgerald but this is way too long to be on here.
First time hearing the artist/album, super cool.
3.5
Cool, would listen again. 3.5 leaning towards 4 this time.
Love it - 4.5
2.5
pretty cool
Great excuse to listen to this in full, been a while
Super weird and diverse. Cool listen
A classic
Couple really great ones on here
Okay but a bit boring. I like Atlantic City but prefer the cover by the Band.
pretty out there. cool to hear their origins but much prefer their later albums
Cool album, 3.5
Not sure I've ever listened to any of her music before, very cool album.
Maybe nothing revolutionary but I love this kinda stuff
2.5. Few great songs but think I'm just not a big fan of the ska influence
Not a fan
Fav on this is He Can Only Hold Her. Fantastic album, complicated and tragic artist.
2.5. Interesting and can see why some would like it but not really my thing.
Interesting to listen to once but will be just fine if I never do so again
Enjoyable listen. Great background music while I work, just a bit boring.
All very catchy
3.5
Love The Doors, great album
Not my thing I guess, band/music itself is fantastic but can't stand the lead singer
Good easy listening music, just a bit boring
Maybe not the most innovative or unique but 5 stars because really enjoy the album
Great easy listening jazz album, will definitely be listening to it again
Take on me is a fantastic song but couldn't get into the rest of the album
Actually really enjoying this, super funky, cool stuff.
Feel like I already got this one before I joined the team one? Anyway great album, 5/5
Title track is great but the album in general falls short compared to their better work. 3/5
Some bangers on here. 3.5/5
I guess it has some artistic merit, its certainly unique and interesting. But man will I never listen to this one again, in fact probably would have been just fine not listening to it at all.
3.5. Solid album, probably wont listen to it again though
Sometimes I catch myself thinking the Beatles are overrated, then I relisten to them and I get it. Not a bad song on this album.
So good
Finally getting some bangers, what a fantastic album
Another great album! Not quite 5 stars though since I find it a bit less interesting than some of his other albums
Appreciate it but probably wouldn't listen it again. Solid 3 star.
Interesting but didn't really enjoy it, maybe 2.5/5.
Thought it was just okay, then I read that the Jamaican accent isn't even real and the guys was born and raised in Scotland LOL. Corny and inauthentic.
Fine
I like David Bowie but his last album here just doesn't really do it for me.
Some fantastic songs on this album but also some I didn't love. 3.5/5 but I guess I'll give it a 3.
Love John Prine, solid album of his
Fine
Fine, kinda boring
Solid, 3.5 leaning towards 4
Lots of great tunes, a few not so good (Mother? Maybe I just don't get it).
Interesting album
Good weird, maybe a 3.5 for me but will give it a 4
Cool! Have never really listed to this genre before. 3.5/5
Some great tracks (Express Yourself), some not my jam. Bumping up to a 4 since it was such a groundbreaking album at the time.
Classic. Get why it may not be everyone's thing but I love it
Not my jam but that doesn't mean its bad. Interesting and creative, especially when reading up on the influences for the album.
Maybe good to have on in the background while you work but didn't find anything particularly interesting about this one.
Never listened to this one in full before! Pretty decent all around but the classics definitely stand out for a reason. 4 but probably more like a 3.5 for me.
Real mix, some great songs, some I found not so good. Paper Planes is still a classic for a reason. Very interesting album in general. 3.5/5
Not every song is fantastic but man is it a fun album and the best songs are super catchy. 4.5/5
Never really got the appeal of Rock Lobster till I listened to this in full. Incredible and absolutely unhinged album.
Obviously a classic, milestone record. Still lots of fun to listen to
Never heard this before but really enjoyed it. 4.5/5 but I'll give it a 5, why not.
5 stars of course
Interesting, a side of The Beach Boys I've never really heard before. 3.5 I guess?
