1001 Albums Summary

It's a good album, but a bit... inoffensive? Christine McVie's songwriting is my favorite. Very heartfelt. Everyone mentions the turbulent context of this album's production, but I hear none of it in the actual music. Highlights: Songbird, The Chain, Go Your Own Way, Your Make Loving Fun, Gold Dust Woman

Highlights: Tom Sawyer, YYZ, The Camera Eye, Vital Signs.

Wow, what a wonderful find. I'd never had picked up this record if not for this challenge. The elegance of the instrumentation is stunning. Nothing is added if not necessary. And somehow, the instrumentation that is added surprises and entrances. So tasteful.
