Pretty good little album, definetly has that classic 50's/60's feel to it. Respect is iconic for a reason, and she has an impressive singing voice. Not quite my style but it's still enjoyable, 7/10

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Jun 24 2026

Not a genre I listen to often but I enjoyed it, every song seemed energetic and fun. I'll probably listen to Jurassic 5 more in the future

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Jun 25 2026

One of my fav albums! It has lots of great Smashing Pumpkins songs with all different sorts of vibes, but somehow all fit perfectly together in one single album. My only critiques are that the second half has less memorable songs and can sometimes feel like a chore to finish the rest. But on their own all the songs are awesome.

Wild that this was 30 years ago. It’s fun, but it is very repetitive. Usually I don’t mind songs like that, but these hardly progress. Makes for some interesting background music though. 6/10

Heartattack And Vine by Tom Waits
Jun 29 2026

Pretty nice instrumentals. Not the right kind of singer for it imo. I wouldn’t have thought this came out in the 80s either. 4/10

Country Life by Roxy Music
Jul 01 2026

Surprised by the unique rock sound of this album, it's familiar but not quite like anything I usually listen to. Fun album but nothing too special. 6/10

Kid A by Radiohead
Jul 05 2026
Jul 06 2026

Very whatever. I can understand if the jazz club experience is something you enjoy, but for me it's just a snoozefest

Jul 08 2026

It's good, just very lengthy. Nothing stands out too much, seeing Hey Ya on this album was a fun surprise

Station To Station by David Bowie
Jul 09 2026

Refreshing to see this short album come after a 2 hour long one. Surprised to see how many albums Bowie has on this list when compared to everyone else's 2-3. But for a good reason, this album was pretty enjoyable

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Jul 11 2026

Harmonica pops off

The White Album by Beatles
Jul 12 2026

Pretty good. But also pretty long. There's a ton of songs and they begin to blend together. But it's still enjoyable nonetheless

Will The Circle Be Unbroken by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Jul 16 2026

This album makes you feel like you’re at the local county fair with your friends, watching the band perform after a long, fun-filled day. You can’t not like at least a few of these tracks. It’s a pretty long album, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear lots of instrumentals too. If you can’t enjoy this album at least a little, maybe you just have an ungrounded prejudice against country. (But it’s better than lots of country today, I’ll admit)

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Jul 17 2026

Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about disco but I enjoyed this a lot. I love every instrument, especially that guitar, and the singing is pretty

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Jul 23 2026

I want to like this band but this album doesn’t help. Maybe it’s just because it’s their first album I listened to front to back

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Jul 25 2026

When I saw this album on the list I wondered when I'd get it. Apparently just 30 albums in. Ironically it also generated while our gym was playing the song Master of Puppets. This was one of the first albums that introduced me to rock, and really music in general. Master and Orion are my favorites, Disposable Heroes is a solid third, but relistening to it again I'd say all the other tracks are just alright. Thing that Should Not Be is probably my least favorite, but it's okay. 8.5/10, I'd recommend someone's first Metallica album to be this one

This is pretty good, it’s cool how it fuses two very different genres of music. It’s not quite my style, the songs are slow and a little boring after a while (although that might be because I listened to volume 1 and 2 in one sitting)

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Aug 04 2026

Fun album! Surprised I haven’t listened to this one all the way through yet. The off-key piano solo in the title track is fire
