Diminishing returns as the album goes along, you can only take so many songs in a row that have such a similar rhythmic structure

All I can think about is this album coming out on 9/11 and Takeover being the first plane in the beef with Nas

Feels like the blueprint for some 90s pop rock, and also The Strokes

This would be great if I saw it live at a club, but listening on earbuds at work is less than satisfying

I can still remember this album coming out and the announcement of Bowie’s death days later. Still as haunting today as it was then
