Abbey Road by Beatles
Aug 03 2026

I liked this a lot, especially side 2 with the medley, really nice transitions between the songs and I like the tonal shifts, big smiles for octopuses garden I love you Ringo. I didn't realize how many different genres they would have on this album, really interesting listen, no one ever says this except for me I guess but the beatles were a very talented and influential band. Likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out (in my opinion) 5/5 we all know this

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Aug 04 2026

Baby's first time listening to a led Zeppelin album, not the kind of music I normally listen to and more bluesy than I thought it would be, moby dick spoke to me though, they're doing interesting things with noises, need to relisten Likelihood that the members were lezzing out imo: 2/5 I had to look up led Zeppelin kissing on Google to do some research and found a few pics but I don't think that was as much their thing

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Aug 05 2026

You look over at me. Beads of sweat glisten on my forehead, I am shaking and trembling, every bone in my body is set on edge trying to not just blurt out that they don't make country music like this anymore I love you Dolly, I love you old country albums, I love it when they have a heart wrenching song immediately followed by a song about you mom stealing your man, this album whips ass

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Aug 06 2026

Booyeah this was some yummy music, im hearing strings, I'm hearing some high pitched backing vocals, I'm hearing a kick drum really pushing it's weight, they've got some good ingredients in their soup Extra shout out to the first and last songs on this album, good glam rock range Likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out IMO: 3/5 they all look exactly like dykes, I think anything they do would be sorta gay at least

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Aug 07 2026

I can't be objective about leonard cohen, when I was a kid my mom would make me memorize these songs so I could sing them to my grandmother over the phone but with the lyrics sometimes changed to make them less horny, they do something to my brain chemistry (positive) but it still feels like getting hit with a bat sometimes when I hear the original lyrics, I can't believe they let this guy write this stuff, he is literally making a violin sound like moaning The lyricism is just absolutely incredible on this, I can't stand it, its the kind of writing you would only expect to see in a T S Elliot poem, the bibble, or maybe a supernatural fanfic from 2014 Perfect music to listen to on a train who wants to go out to mesa with me Leftover gyro rice and white sauce heated in the work microwave

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Aug 10 2026

I've been wanting to give out less fives but unfortunately boys hollering and layered percussion and synth is exactly my style, this album whips ass. I've been a big fan of once in a lifetime for a while and it was nice to hear the rest of the album hold up. Cereal with milk from the work fridge that is technically supposed to be used for tea and coffee

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Aug 11 2026

There are a lot of things about this album that put me outside of my usual realm of listening - I don't really listen to metal, their voices didn't really do it for me at first, but the absolute atmosphere that this album creates is spectacular. I'm an absolute sucker for rain noises so I was immediately vibing with this album until the vocalist came in, but by the time I was a quarter of the way through the album I started to feel like his voice became something that I could expect and appreciate. I love the lyrics, they make me wish I was some small town punk kid in the 70s who was freaking out their parents with devil worshipping music, I know that would have felt incredible. This makes me also see why the satanic panic was a thing, if I was a parent and I found my kid listening to this I would probably overreact like it was my government job to do so. Wicked world is surprisingly jazzy, that's gotta be my favorite, love the stripped down guitar solo in the middle Overall: I feel like this album is exactly what I wanted from this website, I don't think I would have listened to it otherwise and I liked it quite a bit, you can hear its influence in other musicians. Even though its still not really my style I can see myself reaching for it again some day, it rocks. Likelihood that the member of this band lezzed out IMO: 4/5 have you seen the picture of them on spotify with the cunty little scarves and shags? i think they were doing experiments in witchcraft Using each others bodies. Two hard boiled jammy eggs no seasoning no plate eaten out of my palm

Talking Timbuktu by Ali Farka Touré
Aug 12 2026

Loved this, obviously, breath of fresh air compared to some of the recent albums where I have been putting myself out of my usual listening zone, this past year I've been listening to a lot of African traditional niche instruments and jam music recently and getting this album today just felt like a relaxing listen on my day off, definitely adding this to the rotation, mwah.

Countdown To Ecstasy by Steely Dan
Aug 13 2026

rolling around on the ground like an earthworm after the rain I've been waiting so patiently to get to listen to some steely Dan albums on this bitch Listening to this album specifically makes me feel like I am on the worlds longest escalator that is going to deposit me into a sexy mall from the 1980s when the hottest thing you could do was plant palm trees indoors, this is another one I can't be objective about because I feel like I could do this shit Acapella however I am giving this four stars since i think they have better albums. I'm an absolute slut for the wind chimes or whatever that is on bodhisattva but the lyrics on this album overall aren't at steely Dan peak esoteric Likelihood the members of this band lezzed out IMO: wooooooof questions questions! Well. I want to say yes because I am gay and I love Becker and Fagen but I honestly don't really think these two have chemistry sorry to say! Damn they still made good music though somehow 1/5 please send me receipts if I am wrong.

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
Aug 14 2026

I liked Requiem, then the second song (wardance) I vibed with so little that i put off listening to the rest of the album or any other albums until today (four days later). Listening to the rest of the album today while I did some pleasantly mindless CAD work, I still like Requiem and even Wardance is kinda charming with a fun sound, I think I was just being fussy last week and needed a nap or whatever. I still don't really think that this is something I would choose to listen to again, it feels a bit bare and repetitive to me, but it does have a very specific vibe that I appreciate and maybe someday I'll want to put myself in this mindset again. Requiem is now in my liked songs though so we'll see how that does with repeat listens. Because of this and because I want to start having more of a range of stars I've gotta put this at a 2/5. Likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out IMO: 1/5 i just don't think it was in the cards for them tbh

C'est Chic by CHIC
Aug 17 2026

im a happy man wasn't exactly looking forward to this one, I like disco but sometimes it just doesn't hit and I feel like I've heard le freak too many times to actually still enjoy listening to it but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this album. Of course its good, though, they have a wonderful sound and vibe, good instrumentation, I like the things they say, cest chic. Glad I listened to this. consensus looks like its a 3 on this one and I have to agree. Likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out IMO: 4/5 its disco babey

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Aug 18 2026

First heard pink moon (the track) years ago and was naught a fan! Since then though I've become a little soyboy and now I lap this shit up like a kitty cat in a bowl of cream. I like his voice. I like his poetry. I feel like the songs on this album form a very nice cohesive set without feeling repetitive. Really lovely but not something I'd reach for too often, this is a whisper away from being a four but I'm trying to be tough with these.

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
Aug 19 2026

Local music enjoyer is flabbergasted that incredibly well known and recognized albums are recognized for a reason - this one had me gagged, Britney has the voice of an angel and I absolutely loved this. Latter half of the album didn't hold my attention as much. Big smiles especially for soda pop and you drive me crazy, also absolutely loved the cover of the beat goes on by sonny and cher, that sent me down a rabbit hole. Really fun listen today unexpected cheddar snacker and kinder riegel and some leftover green beans from kofi dumpling house

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Aug 20 2026

Im a Neil young fan in general but I hadn't listened to this album yet, very pleasing cover woof! Im always a fan of his weird little harmonies and his nice voice but this album had me feeling like he was just singing reallllll slowwww and long sometimes especially on the latter half and I felt bored, I think this is a 3/5 for me today just for the crime of I didn't feel like listening to a jam album at the moment. Call me back when it's harvest time

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Aug 21 2026

I wake up like I do every day to another day in my boring life, I get up and gaze upon my visage in the mirror at my darm brown hair and almond shaped eyes brown eyes that sparkle in the sun or they would if anyone ever looked that close but no one even knows I'm fucking alive at my poser high school. I tromp down the stairs to my mom in the kitchen, drunk as usual! I roll my eyes with my long dark eyelashes and start to walk by but she stops me with her witch fingers and it's only then that I notice the group of brightly dressed tall people crammed in the dorway. "I've sold you to the talking heads so that I can have more money for dry vermouth!" I SCREAM and fall to the ground. David byrne saunters over, almost ripping the doorframe to shreds with his big fucking suit and puts his hand on my shoulder, he looks into my eyes and I feel like for the first time in maybe ever someone is seeing me. He opens his mouth. Dolphin sounds come out. I sigh and reach into my back pocket where I keep my farmers market organic carrots and gently feed him from my open palm. Anyways if I'm being real I wasnt thrilled at first to see another talking heads album and one I had never heard of but you know what I love David byrne and his voice I liked it when he said nyeeehn mmmmmyemmmmm. Four outta five just because I think there are better head albums. Lez out score 4/5

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Aug 24 2026

Second led Zeppelin album so far and I feel bad saying it but I think this music just isn't really for me, they have a lot of moments that I think are excellent and have awesome energy, like the little Irish flute noises on stairway to heaven, or the first bit of black dog, but it often just sort of peters out into noise after that. Obviously they're an incredibly talented band that probably only sounds typical to me because they were pioneers of this genre, so I can't really say that there is anything I wish was different but I think this just doesn't really hit for me. Maybe I wish they sounded nicer or had more interesting instrumentation but that's also not really the point of their sound. Lez out score: still 2/5

Doolittle by Pixies
Aug 25 2026

Started half listening to this on the train home yesterday and debaser had me immediately locked in, put it both earbuds, big respect, felt like someone was singing to me from cupped hands, after that the songs were a bit hit or miss but it was a really neat listen as a band that you can tell has been the source material for a bunch of other bands. Did not realize they were the band that sang "here comes your man" and got some whiplash from them going into a doo wop song. They Have the Range! shoutout too to Silver for its twang. Likelihood that the members of this band have lezzed out IMO: 3/5 im kinda getting some vibes from these guys and I can't explain it but i'm seeing something here

John Prine by John Prine
Aug 26 2026

john prine john prine sweet as candy and twice as fine almost had to take a star off because some of this shit is just too sad it makes me feel broken. Too bad! five stars, i can't believe country singers used to actually say things, if a mainstream artist tried to release "Your Flag Decal Won't Get You into Heaven Anymore" today I can only assume they would be exploded into a fine pink mist my only option would be to lick them off the sidewalk or go back to listening to this fucking banger on spotify. Incredible songwriter, beautiful voice, fantastic album

Trio by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

One of my comfort albums, my mom had this cassette when I was growing up, very nostalgic especially Those Memories of You, beautiful harmonization. Easy five, I also think crossover albums are the coolest thing and this one is the best one I know. Likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out IMO: 4/5 I know Dolly had a man but also if you want something to be true so bad you can make it real. My rating system not yours

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Aug 28 2026

I put off rating this one because I only listened to it through once and it just felt like the kind of album you had to listen to on repeat to really sink into, I like radiohead in general but had never listened to one of their albums through. Listening to it more today and I just really like the sound that they're making, I love what they're doing with time signatures and all the background vocals, feels like I am underwater. Four stars just to be a hardass but I reserve the right to up it to five with more listens likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out IMO: 2/5 I really had to think about this one but sadly I think the early 2000s probably held them back from really exploring each others bodies. that and being british. not out of the question though

Kid A by Radiohead
Sep 01 2026

I think I liked this a bit less than in rainbows but also I just don't feel like I was in the right space today for something so experimental and noise focused. Only listened to it once so far and I want to return to this one again when I have more time to listen to it. 3/5 because I'm being tough, might revise later.

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Sep 02 2026

What a fresh voice in the early 2000s rap scene! I appreciate his humor and vulnerability on this album, I'm sure we'll have a long career of impactful hits and advocacy from this guy. In all seriousness, this was a good variation, nice samples, I always like intros and skits and things like that on albums but I am starting to become someone that likes a tight sub 40 min album and an hour 12 minutes here felt longggg.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Sep 03 2026

Not my thing. There were only a few moments on this album that I enjoyed (they have a few little tricks at the beginnings of some songs that seem like they would set up a good vibe but it mostly gets dropped) and the rest of the time I felt rather weary and bored. Probably better live or really loud, I first started listening to this on the train rather quiet in one earbud and it sounded pretty bad so I put in two and turned it up to a healthy volume and that helped. Let the record show that I committed a medium amount. Where is my mind is good but I already knew and liked that one so I think it's got familiarity on its side. In all sincerity I wish they would have just barked like dogs for the whole album, I honestly think they would be really good at that and that's the kind of record I would love to listen to in the gym it would get me so fucking hyped up please pixies if you read this I'm sorry for saying all the other mean things in this review please give me this. Listened to debaser again after this album on repeat just to affirm that the pixies can make good music. I've been wanting to give out a one because I like the pretty red color, so I appreciate that Lez out score: we just had this one and I think I gave them a 2 probably. If they lezzed out I would be rather uninterested in the spectacle. Devastating. Bark like dogs and I'll change this rating so fast it'll make your head spin

Young Americans by David Bowie
Sep 04 2026

david bowie in this album cover has the beautifully manicured fingernails and prenatal glow of the 1950s housewife I would have been promised if I had only been born 70 years earlier and also was a man, chat drop a response if you think i could have pulled femme top david bowie however don't drop a response though if you don't think I could I simply don't feel like hearing that right now we are about to go into a long weekend and I know I will need to preserve my vibes for an extra day, thanks! I liked this but I'm pacing myself in terms of David bowie albums on this list, I know there are about 15 of them and I want to have a solid range. Fame (FAME) however is one of David bowies nastiest little hits and I love it so much, his energy in that and young americans is divine. The rest of the songs on the album fall a bit flat at times although they make for a pretty good vibe. David bowies babiest makingest album

Sep 07 2026

i feel like these boys really like to have fun and I love that for them, its good scurrying around music. I think the fact that there was less singing helped me really sink into the instrumentals here and enjoy them more, I also had some CAD work today for the first time in a while and it made for a good soundtrack to some rote computer work. When there is singing, it blends with the music well and doesn't take center stage which I find very nice, good vibey album to put on. Despite the deeply unfuckable dude on the cover of the album (tough transition after the beautiful young american bowie from yesterday) I think this is a pretty approachable one. I especially loved the end of the album, it felt like video game music, I wish the songs were separated more so i could just save that. I did not listen to the bonus tracks btw, I have not been doing that for any of these albums because I will pretty much always prefer to keep them short. Likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out: 2/5 i just don't really think they were that into each other, they seemed more focused on the music or whatever. music doesn't seem too horny either, these guys are giving off surprisingly buttoned up vibes to me

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Sep 09 2026

im still vampire lestat pilled from a few months ago now and i think about Him whenever I hear french in songs..... good though! Fun album, somehow I've spent pretty much no time with this band other than their song Sprawl II which I love, it was neat to hear more of their music. Sometimes I feel like I can hear this band containing the prototype that later turned into stomp hey and its scary. its good when they do it however. likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out IMO: 4/5 they're french (canadian), I can feel the energy

Duck Stab/Buster & Glen by The Residents
Sep 10 2026

Immediately liked this album, feels like my brain is a sheet of tinfoil that is being crumpled up, constantinople feels like a voicemail to me I feel afraid to give this album five stars lest I look like some kind of tryhard who wants to look special for liking music that objectively sounds discordant and strange but I feel like listening to this album just brightened my day and I loved all the sounds, it was so engaging in a way that really connected with me. Its so silly and fun and its also short! Sub 40 minute album where all the songs are 3.5 minutes or less, its like a beautiful spread of pastries laid in front of you and who are you to judge if some of the pastries have junk like DDT and copper tubing in them. It was also just really a treat to get to listen to something so different, I'm glad they included this album on the list. Had no idea where any song was going and I especially liked all the songs that had a driving baseline to them, makes me feel like I am working in a slaughterhouse and having a really fun time at it. If you are coming to this years saw trap themed halloween party you should know that the laughing song Will be on the playlist. Likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out: 4/5, they are like space aliens to me so I think that they definitely had all kinds of shit going on that I honestly wouldn't even understand.

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Sep 11 2026

yippee, psychedelic rock! fun transition from yesterdays noise factory Its cute! Its kind of like if the monkees showered less. I was excited to see a banjo on the cover but honestly over the course of the album I didn't really hear it. Stolen valor. Over time the songs kind of blended together which is sort of the point with a jammy album like this, but at the end of the day it didn't have too much of an effect on me. Ok now im gonna be harsh but its going to be two stars for this one. Not because its even especially bad but I think my metric for something being three stars is if I would listen to it again and I think if I want this vibe im always going to be reaching for cornell 5/8/77 instead. would have been at least a three if they had given daddy a dose of some banjo. also. i don't get the hype around white rabbit. that song is kinda dumb to me. Likelihood that the members of this band lezzed out IMO: 4/5 it was the 60s, look at their hair, its covering all of their ears, these guys were swapping out band members because they were running through the internal crew like crazy.
