A funky and clever album from a great artist. Begins with some great hits before heading towards long and impressive but slightly less easy to listen to songs. I became less engaged as the album continued.
Very palatable with some fun riffs. Good mix of songs, good composition of instruments.

First off, Bono is a legend. The first 3 tracks really evoke an emotion and feel very relatable, something that is often the sign of a great album. However I didn’t enjoy every track and felt the themes of the songs were all very similar so it pains me to give The Joshua Tree only 4 stars, a rating that doesn’t really feel quite representative of an amazing album. Definitely towards a 5 but it wasn’t quite enough for me.
The second best album from an iconic band. So close to 5 stars

Great storyteller. Great voice. Great band. The crowd was maybe a little enthusiastic but that’s not the fault of “the King”.
Legend. We need more of this music in the modern world. Too much of the same to give this 5 stars but all in all a great album.
I had never heard of them and I was very sceptical. However… I was definitely humbled when it turned out to be a real gem of an album and a really enjoyable listen.
I expected it to be better than it was but I still really enjoyed select songs and it’s obviously a clever album. And so on and so on and scooby dooby dooby.

Mark Ronson is a genius. She has a great voice and vibe. One of the best albums I have heard. Every track is a hit.
The Rolling Stones are one of those bands who are extremely famous but I have never gotten around to listening to their music. Although it is just one album, Sticky Fingers gives me relief in knowing that I wasn’t missing out.

Surprised by the album to be honest. Not a fan of the vocals but despite that, I thought it was a very fun and funky album that I quite enjoyed.

I’m not a big fan of electronic music so that didn’t help. These songs were also all twice as long as they needed to be. I often started a song believing that it sounded interesting but then it would just drag on forever…
For a rock album it was alright to be fair. The vocals were pretty awful at times though.
My second Prince album. This was better than the last one. Defo some hits on here and he’s a genius. A mad one but still a genius.
After the first few songs, this album had a 5-star review written all over it. Then I realised the songs all became the same thing and nothing really stood out after that. An album that got gradually worse, and an album that never got the strong closing song that it deserved. I’m still giving it 4 stars because of the obvious hits, but they definitely carried the album to that rating.

Really quite a good album. The style of vocals unfortunately spoiled it at times and ended up making this a 3 but the core of the album was really enjoyable.

Not my kind of music at all. However there were some very fun and clever songs and the album was pretty palatable. I’m also a sucker for a good last song and this album provided that.
A pleasant listen dotted with hits. An album I didn’t expect to enjoy but I was glad to be proven wrong.
