All I can think about listening to this album is how it's not Abbey Road. Appreciate the experimental recording tech efforts but the songs don't do it for me.
This album actually made me feel. I remember being scared by the heretical lyrics. I'm still shocked by the power of this music to scare me. Adrian Belew's solo is such a weird masterpiece. Way more melodic than I remember. Love the dynamic volume changes.
Can't not think of what James said about white artist remaking black art. Beautiful voice
