Classic rock is not really my genre. There was one recognizable song, maybe used in a sample, Changes, and that was interesting. I prefer the slower, acoustic songs, but even so, it didn't pull me in very much. I've never listened to a Black Sabbath album in full, so now I can say I did. woot. I listened to some more of their popular songs after, and was like, oh yeah

I was excited about this one cause Jasmine has her Blue vinyl - her first vinyl purchase, so I know it's special! I loved this and listened to her other popular songs on Spotify and it just leaves me wanting to listen to more / relisten again. she is an incredible vocalist and her lyrics are introspective and poetic and put a smile on myself :)
i also had heavy associations to an album i love: Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood. she must have been heavily influenced by Joni Mitchell. if you liked this album, at least give Movies by Weyes Blood a listen - not exact but heavily reminiscent of Help Me!
i was delightfully surprised by this one!
i expected it to sound samey like black sabbath
but there was enough variety that kept me interested!
i also really enjoyed the vocals, thought they sounded passionate and epic
the sounds felt unique too
i liked it!
i was admittedly distracted while listening to the latter half
but nevertheless, surprisingly good!
though the tracks leading to the next were not seamless and sounded abrupt

This sounded so familiar. My alarm rang and interrupted my listen and I couldn't find where I was so I gave up on it. Inoffensive and smooth.
uh on first glance, 1h15m and only 4 songs. that's ambitious but it makes me nervous. these guys are still playing - they're on tour.
