Very good but not my favorite.

Excellent vocals, interesting melodies and competent arrangement. Sometimes it gets a bit cloying (meaning annoying,) but strikes a good balance for the most part.

No bad songs here but nothing transcendent. Packt like Sardines and I might be wrong are both fun listens.

Dad music, fun but gonna be background music for me.

Vocals are unnaturally loud sometimes. Its kind of the same song seven times in a row with "we are family" sticking out in the middle. Its not bad but it didn't really click with me.I’m looking forward to listening to more disco/rnb stuff though.

More dad music. Its a good hard rock album, but never becomes great. Dave Grohl is a great musician but he doesn't really have the "sauce" that Nirvana did. I don't dislike any of the songs on here so it gets a 4.

Maybe R&B/Soul stuff just isn’t my genre. Mostly just sparse instrumentals while she sings about how she hates/doesn’t respect/cheated on her romantic partners. Cherry is a great song but it’s really only half of a song. DNF

Brilliant stuff, chill R&B/blues. For me it’s kind of background music but in the best possible way, I can enjoy this while doing just about anything or nothing at all. Lyrics bite. Torn between giving this a 4 or a 5. Still not exactly my genre. Basslines clinch it. The Bottle is a great single.

it’s jazz music

Lyrics are generic, arrangements are a step above generic. There’s still some soul in it. Spotify says this is glam rock? Seems a little low-key for that. Jeepster might be the most generic song I’ve ever heard. I do think the vocals are good.

A classic bossa nova album. I find it very difficult to rate these types of albums, to be honest. Its obviously extremely good, but I'm not a huge bossa nova guy. Its a lot of similar sounding songs which are all good.

I like 80s goth music a lot and this is that. Drums are very 80s, love it. The lyrics are a little too bombastic for me. It doesn't quite strike the balance that Depeche Mode, the Cure, or Japan do. Its a genre I like but didn't really click with me.

Had absolutely no impact on me at all aside from being slightly annoying

One of my favorite albums, every single song is creative and experimental. Somehow its all cohesive and every song is enjoyable without being formulaic. No notes, thank you Björk

She’s an amazing vocalist, I’d never heard this album before but I immediately recognized her from Getz/Gilberto’s The Girl from Ipanema. This album is better than that though. Really well written stuff all the way through. Some bizarre inclusions like the literal circus music in the middle of the album bring it down a bit but hey some people probably like it.
