1001 Albums Summary

Seminal ‘90s hip-hop. It’s low budget, gritty, and incredibly creative.

I hate pretty much everything about this album and the whole concept behind Gorillaz. Even with that, I was set to give this album 2 stars until I got to Man Research.

I did not particularly enjoy this. Pretty mumbly and incoherent at times. Like a cross between the Juno soundtrack and Bon Iver. It’s not horrible, it’s just not for me.

The 5 minute song about the fruit tree was a high point.

Self indulgent and boring.

It’s a perfectly cromulent album.
