Little Earthquakes
Tori AmosThis is insanely good. Left me with chills. Standout tracks: all of them but I guess "Silent All These Years," "Leather," "Little Earthquakes"

Cool stuff. Meat Puppets, Nirvana, Kurt Vile vibes
Great folksy vibes; music feels familiar. Feels like a precursor to Bonnie Raitt or someone we'd get at JFFA.
Not actually my personal fav Zeppelin album but brilliant nonetheless. Going to California always makes me cry
This must have been one of Bernstein's influences for West Side Story. Cool stuff if not what I normally listen to
“Faith”—going on good mood playlist. “Father figure”—daddy owo?? Other standout track: “Monkey.” I hadn’t checked out George Michael before because I despise “Last Christmas” but I see now that I was wrong
I'd heard most of Bowie's hits but never listened to an album straight through. Did not disappoint! Standout tracks: "Five Years" and "Suffragette City"

Good stuff but knocking stars because this album doesn't include "Roundabout"
Platonic ideal of a Beatles album
I really liked this album, although it dragged a bit towards the middle/end. Pretty surprised I've never been exposed to Hole/Spotify has never recommended them or any of Courtney Love's stuff to me. Will definitely be checking out their earlier stuff which is apparently grungier.
I appreciate that this is probably kind of a groundbreaking album but I do not think it is for me
Love most of Jack White's stuff though I hadn't actually heard this album before. Good but doesn't necessarily stand out from other White Stripes albums IMO
I mean, it's Van Halen--just good, solid rock
Glad to have checked this artist out! Good stuff, although a bit outside what I usually listen to.
Sad to say this one was really, *really* not my cup of tea. I would like at some point to listen to and learn more about jazz, as I think it's a diverse genre with a lot of cool music from the very little I've been exposed to. BUT this album really threw me into the deep end and then proceeded to drown me in the deep end. Near the end sometimes there was a melody I could grasp onto, but it wasn't enough. Maybe if I knew a lot more about jazz I could appreciate this, but I right now I can't.
A few of these were bops but I wasn't crazy about the album as a whole (interestingly, my two least favorites were the ones with the most streams on Spotify. Although those were also probably the most musically interesting ones, but I guess I just like boring stuff)
I always think of myself as someone who doesn’t like rap and hip-hop but whenever I hear this earlier stuff from the 90s I really like it.
I will confess I didn't get through the whole album, but with about half I think I heard enough to rate. I haven't had a lot of exposure to drum and bass so it was nice to be able to check some out. It was entirely inoffensive but didn't do that much for me and wasn't really very interesting to actively listen to.
Perfectly fine but the vocal style wasn't really up my alley. Standout tracks: "I Just Can't Be Happy Today," "These Hands"
I hate to admit it but I just really like U2 Hadn't listened to this particular album in its entirety before, so there were a few tracks that were new to me! It probably doesn't stand up to Joshua Tree but still very good.
Had never heard of this group but this was a great listen. May relisten to decide whether to add to the usual rotation.
As someone who learned violin via the Suzuki Method, absolutely losing my mind at "Left Hand Suzuki Method"
super into this
are the pumpkins smashing as in the verb “to smash” or smashing as in the british adjective
There was a wider than usual range of how much I liked the songs on this album (wasn't paying close enough attention to write down the ones I liked, though). Interesting style, glad to have heard it.
Super into "Darkness, Darkness." Love this style of folk rock (or whatever subgenre this would be).
The Cars are one of those groups where I know a ton of songs by them but don't really process it because I only hear them on the radio. Standout tracks: "Just What I Needed" (perennial favorite), "Moving in Stereo" (new discovery)
I will confess I had no idea who did Girls Just Want to Have Fun. What a jam. Other standout tracks: "She Bop" and "I'll Kiss You"
Decent but didn't really capture my attention.
This was very chill vibes and fantastic as background music at work which was what I was using it for.
Love a good live album. Another group I was aware of through their hits with radio play but hadn't heard any of their other music until now
classic
All the songs I didn't know made me think "Yep, this sounds like a song by the group that did 'Bang a Gong (Get It On)'"
Don't think I'd heard anything by Elvis Costello before. v enjoyable
Probably not one I'd listen to again but it really grew on me as I listened. Some great, heavy riffs. Standout track: Bazooka Joe
I enjoyed this while I listened, but it didn't really seem to have anything particularly memorable
I may have said this in a previous review but whenever I listen to '90s hip-hop I like it a lot more than I expect to. Definitely want to check out some more of the genre
Alice Cooper is so fun
Had a few bangers
Some absolute bangers on here, can see why it's a classic
I'm used to the phenomenon where you can't really perceive any accent in (English-language) singing so it's always feels a little weird when someone sounds super British. Enjoyed the album tho
Not a single miss on this album, great stuff
I felt a little targeted by "How About You?" Minus one star for "Makin' Whoopee."
I know this is an unpopular opinion but Fetch the Bolt Cutters was a bit too weird for me, so I wasn't sure what to expect from her earlier work. I found myself pleasantly surprised and did enjoy it more than expected! Same great songwriting but a little less weird
Some great stuff on here outside of what I normally listen to. Huge fan of "Believe."
Standout track: "Month of May"
Elvis kinda overrated tbh
Cool stuff. Meat Puppets, Nirvana, Kurt Vile vibes
