pretty good. started slow but then turned into more rock, like the smiths but more upbeat. the killing moon was my fav
Essential album, loved it from start to finish.
It was alright, everything was the same 90s alt rock feel, nothing special
Great track, felt a little long but the banter during the show was fun and I liked most of the songs
Good album, but a lot of it sounded the same.
Your typical electro 80s album, kind of disappointing honestly. Opened real strong with the first two songs or so then everything sounded the same.
Started out great, even though it was repetitive everything had a good beat. But you can only do that for so long. Still good.
Hipster beat poet meets jazz. His banter was amusing and the jazz was jazz but not my style
Not a huge fan, mostly because it was nothing special the songs were ok. Didn’t help that I was listening to this on the road.
This album was a journey. 7 songs and over an hour. It started off pretty good with good rhythm and catchy beats, but got sort of weird psychedelic by the end. The 17 min song really took me out of it.
Not great, there was one or two songs that were ok but the rest was not my style. Seems like another experimental album with jazzy themes and strange lyrics
Good
Reminds me of cake and the talking heads. Kind of an alternative techno funk hybrid, not the greatest.
Well made album, with good instrumentals. Some songs were way too long though. And you and I was a good one
mid, too aggressive for me
Certified classic
Weird jungle music
Certified classic
Decent, your average countryish folksy music
Similar sounds by songs but they were all good
Not good, more like spoken word and not at all catchy
Classic
Solid well made album with good instrumentals. I actually really like David Bowie now
not as good as folsom prison, but still a classic I would say. I like the banter with the crowd, and the catering of the songs towards prison inmates
Solid album overall, some fantastic songs and also some mediocre ones. I felt like a lot of it was filler/wasn’t memorable in any way, but the good songs made it worth it. Favorite: turn to stone
very mediocre
On the upper end of 4 stars for sure. Not something I ever would have listened to, but the rawness of this album makes it really enjoyable. Started off slow but was all good songs for the rest.
Solid instrumentals but I couldn’t get behind some of the lyrics. I should give this another chance sometime
seems like a very popular album but I only like a few of the songs
Mid rock album, only two songs caught my attention so it wasn’t terrible
classic dolly parton, her voice just isnt for me. good songs liked a few
Surprisingly good, but way too long I didn’t listen to the whole thing and it got weird by the end
It wasn’t bad, but this was very forgettable R&B music, which isn’t really my thing
This is certainly one of the jazz albums of all time
Actually great rock, but the lyrics were not great.
not bad actually, but not my type of music and nothing made the playlist
More low key queens of the Stone Age with better lyrics. I liked it.
solid album, similar beats but it all flowed really well with good lyrics too
there was nothing special about this album
Some good songs but too long and few good songs in between
Jazz, I feel nothing special about jazz
Solid album I thought
Generic club beats
Basic 80s rock
Not great, except for one song.
I really wanted to like this album, since I like everybody wants to rule the world, but it was really mediocre. no songs stood out to me
One of my favorite albums. This band has a sound that I have not heard anywhere else, a nice mix of blues and rock. Some songs dragged a bit but there is little else to complain about. Pretty much a perfect album.
nothing special about this album, but i didn't dislike it either.
just ok. good instrumentals but seemed kinda basic
to be honest i only listened to a few songs, but I actually liked it. good folk music, good voice
Solid
Heathens
Kind of all sounded the same and was too long
Solid
I don’t know how to feel about this. I don’t think it deserves all the praise buts it’s def a different sound from other music at the time
Doo doo stinky techno doo doo butter
A classic
