Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy

Fantastic album. 9/10. Fight the power is a classic. The album has a lot of variety too. Work of art.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Mar 01 2023

7.5/10. Beautiful voice but I prefer instrumental-forward music. California is the best song on the album.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Mar 02 2023

6/10. It was interesting, but not really my taste for the most part. There was a lot of variety on the album. Best songs were Clint Eastwood and Rock the House

Metallica by Metallica
Mar 03 2023

8/10. It was better than I expected. There was a lot of variety on the album which I wasn’t expecting. Enter Sandman is the best song on the album of course.

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Mar 04 2023

Not really my taste in music. I can see the appeal but I didn’t really like it. 4/10

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Mar 05 2023

Fantastic album. 9/10. Fight the power is a classic. The album has a lot of variety too. Work of art.

Peter Gabriel by Peter Gabriel
Mar 06 2023

It was okay. It’s very artsy. Gotta love solsbury hill though. 6/10

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Mar 07 2023

It was good, a bit weird. I have no clue what he was singing about in half the songs, but it felt pretty passionate. 6/10.

Country Life by Roxy Music
Mar 08 2023

It was great! I really liked it. A lot of cool sounds coming from the album. 8/10

90 by 808 State
Mar 09 2023

This was not up my alley. It was like weird house music. 2/10 I did not enjoy it

Murmur by R.E.M.
Mar 10 2023

It was good! R.E.M. is a great band with great vibes. Still didn’t have my favorite songs from them but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. 7.5/10

Mar 11 2023

Gave me proto arcade fire vibes. I like it, but there wasn’t much particularly great about it. Good focus music. 6/10

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Mar 12 2023

7/10. Walk of life and money for nothing are fantastic but the rest of the album was a little dull.

Grievous Angel by Gram Parsons
Mar 13 2023

It was pretty good. Nothing too extraordinary about it but I enjoyed it. 7/10

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Mar 14 2023

It was pretty good. Michael Jackson isn’t my favorite artist but it was still good listening. 7/10

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Mar 15 2023

Pretty good. It’s got their 3 best songs on it. The rest is decent too. 8.5/10.

Mar 16 2023

Not super enticing to me. I didn’t find it legitimately bad, just there was nothing particularly good about it. Instrumentals were alright but vocals kinda throws it off. 4.5/10

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Mar 17 2023

Pretty good! Very chill. 6.5/10

Mar 18 2023

It was pretty interesting. There was nothing that really wowed me but it was pleasant. I’d give it 7.5/10.

Mar 19 2023

That was pretty fun. It’s wild to hear all the screaming girls and the way he amps up the crowd. The music itself wasn’t super special but it seemed like a wild experience. 7/10

Pump by Aerosmith
Mar 20 2023

It was fine. The music is good but it pretty much all sounds the same. 6.5/10

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Mar 21 2023

So so good. It’s really hard to beat Led Zeppelin and they have such great songs that also contain a ton of variety. 9/10 only because this isn’t even their best album

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Mar 22 2023

Very good. I’m really impressed by the variety of music they sampled and produced. 9/10

Duck Rock by Malcolm McLaren
Mar 23 2023

That was wild. It really felt like flipping through radio stations. It was a great use of the radio hosts between songs too. The variation between genres was cool too. 8.5/10

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
Mar 24 2023

Not my style. It was pretty boring through the entire thing. 3.5/10

Drunk by Thundercat
Mar 25 2023

That was very strange. The way he sings reminds me of the guy who does the History of the World YouTube videos. A significant portion of the songs seemed more like jokes than anything else. It was super interesting how well it melded with Kendrick and Wiz, but other than that it was a miss for me. 5/10.

Beautiful Freak by Eels
Mar 27 2023

It was pretty good. There was nothing inspiring about it but I enjoyed it. My beloved monster is a fantastic song though. 7/10

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Mar 28 2023

Loved the piano. She’s got a great voice and she’s funny too. 9/10

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Mar 29 2023

It was like I was playing a Tony Hawk game. It really pumps you up. Generally not my taste in music because it can get repetitive, but because it was only 30 minutes it didn’t get very stale. 8.5/10

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Mar 30 2023

It was okay. Not really anything great about it. Gave off big Herman’s hermits vibes. 5/10

Arc Of A Diver by Steve Winwood
Mar 31 2023

Decent. Nothing incredible about it, I do like the synthesizer tho. Good ambiance music 6/10

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Apr 01 2023

Fantastic album. I love let’s stay together and he has a beautiful voice. 9./10

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Apr 02 2023

I’d give it a 7.5 out of 10. The first half was pretty boring with the neighborhoods but got much better.

Bug by Dinosaur Jr.
Apr 05 2023

4/10, nothing particularly notable about it. Don’t listen to “Don’t” it’s terrible.

Seventh Tree by Goldfrapp
Apr 06 2023

It was good. I liked it. Especially little bird. 6.5/10

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Apr 12 2023

8.5/10. I loved it. It reminded me of fallout. Love the brass accompanying it.

Rattlesnakes by Lloyd Cole And The Commotions
Apr 14 2023

Not bad but nothing to write home about. 5/10

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Apr 15 2023

Reminds me a bit of a new era take on early Pink Floyd. Not my favorite but I could appreciate it I guess. 5/10

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Apr 26 2023

It was really good! I love Janis Joplin’s voice. me and Bobby McGee is the star of the album. Wish it was a little bit longer. 8.5/10

Apr 27 2023

I did not like it. Didn’t finish it, 2.5/10

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Apr 28 2023

Meh, not really my style. It reminded me of when Ross gets his keyboard back in Friends. 3/10.

Bad Company by Bad Company
May 01 2023

I love Bad Company. Bad Company the song was my pump up song before exams in college. The album is really good. 8.5/10.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
May 02 2023

It was good. Bruce Springsteen is great, but I don’t think it’s my favorite of his work. 6.5/10

The Dreaming by Kate Bush
May 17 2023

Not really my style but there were flashes that were good. 5/10

Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
May 18 2023

Really interesting to listen to. A lot of notes similar to like David Bowie and others in that new wave kind of alt music. Also a hint of like the Doors or something. 7/10

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
May 19 2023

Really good. It’s Tricky and the Walk This Way remix are both incredible songs. I like all the rock they incorporated into their beats. 8/10

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
May 20 2023

The “easy listening” of Stevie Wonder. It’s pleasant to listen to, but it’s nothing exceptional. 7/10.

May 24 2023

I was shocked at how diverse the album was. I love the Pogues, great album and it was cool to see the Dubliners on there too. 8.5/10

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
May 25 2023

It was some nice jazz. I was expecting a little more vocals just because it’s Frank Zappa. 7.5/10

Fifth Dimension by The Byrds
May 26 2023

It was pretty good. Groovy, but it wasn’t exceptional. Although Eight Miles High is an incredible song. 7/10.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Jun 08 2023

Wow that was intense. There were some incredible songs and the creativity and production was excellent, but man that was violent. 8/10.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Jun 09 2023

Very good album with the best songs being GREAT songs. I’d give it a 9/10.

Jun 19 2024

It really grew on me. The first half I was pretty ambivalent toward it, but starting with the 6th sense it became really incredible. My favorites were the 6th sense, a song for assata and pops rap III. 8/10

White Light by Gene Clark
Jun 21 2024

It’s a fine album. I can appreciate it but there wasn’t really anything that stood out to me. 6.5/10

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Jun 22 2024

This was a very interesting album. The songs were the definition of hit and miss for me. I also like the juxtaposition between Nico’s songs and the garage rock sound of the velvet underground’s songs. All in all I’d give it a 7.5/10

KE*A*H** (Psalm 69) by Ministry
Jun 27 2024

That was not really my taste. The guitar was good when they showed it off but it was few and far between. Felt pretty repetitive to me as well. 5/10 and that’s mostly because of the guitar.

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Jun 29 2024

I like the album a lot! That country blues combo is great and La Grange is a great song too. 8/10

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Jul 02 2024

It was good. Not fantastic but it really sets a good mood. 7/10

Rust In Peace by Megadeth
Jul 03 2024

It was pretty good. Nothing special but I enjoyed the guitar. 6.5/10

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Jul 12 2024

That was great. Talkin’ Bout a Revolution and Fast Car are classics. I was surprised by a lot of the sounds of some of the other songs. Very powerful lyrics too. 8.5/10

1989 by Taylor Swift
Jul 13 2024

There are some good songs on here, even for a pop-swiftie hater. I’d give this a solid 7.5/10
