1001 Albums Summary

Never been a maiden fan. I mean, it’s really the first time I’ve listened to a full album. I’ve heard maybe 3 of their songs prior. Musically it’s really great, tight licks and superb drumming. Vocals are over the top. I enjoyed whilst showering. Out of 5 stars I give it a 2. 👍🤷🏻‍♂️

Big fan. Love the keys, was into their earlier first 3 albums or so more. They became pretty polished and filtered on brothers. Losing some of that blues feel I grew to love. Brothers kicks ass though. Listened to it rona. Next girl. Everlasting light. All and all a very solid keys album. Dan and Pat rock.

Cut your hair rules. I dig the rest. Not a giant pavement fan. But I dig it. And it’s a good listen. I’ve never really known where to categorize them. Weezer ish? Nah. I guess a sound truly their own. Nothing extremely ground breaking here. But it’s decent. Summer babes is my favorite song of theirs, not on this album.

I’m all set. Snooze fest. Wilco isn’t for me. Next album.

I like it. Won’t listen again. Sounds like Depeche Mode.
