1001 Albums Summary

My first user album from the generator and it kicks major ass! I've owned this record for years and gave it to my son when he moved out. The Wilson sisters rock. A huge omission by Dimery and Co. to not have any Heart on the list, this album and Little Queen should have been in the original book.

It's been a while since I've heard this banger. Played it through 3 times and it's as great as I remember. The guitar tone is just crushing. Big thanks to whoever picked it. Wata rules.

I know I'm in the minority, but this is easily my favorite Tool album. An absolute masterpiece of drumming by Danny Carey. Watching the live drum can video of Pneuma is always a mind blower. Thanks for submitting this one, it's going in the rotation.

How was the Father of Rock and Roll not on the original list? Dumbfounding to say the least. Thank you for correcting this error. Chuck Berry is the man.

The drum work on this album is next level. Opening with an 11+ minute track and the 2nd side consisting of one 22+ minute long piece. Yes please, all day long. Just excellent.

By my estimation three things kept this album from being on the original list. 1. It's not British 2. It's not British electronica. 3. It's not mediocre 90's Britpop. High quality pop punk that should've been on the original list.

If Cake were British they'd have a few albums on the list. This record is a good time.

Fuck the haters and ignore the bullshit low star reviews. This is really a strong pop album. Good tunes and good vocals. Just remember that as asinine as it sounds, 20% of the people here have rated Sgt. Pepper's at 3 stars and below. That said, 1 in 5 people wouldn't know a good album if it punched them in the eardrum.

Kick ass. I'm not a gamer so I'm not familiar with this. I've been digesting this multiples times over a 2 week period. Watched about an hour and a half of a 4 hour play through video on youtube and it helped connect the music. Nice pick, the ambient parts are standout for me. Those mannequin leg things are straight fucking creepshow.

Saint Parton.

What the fuck Dimery? He gives us lots of '90s dreck metal like Limp Bizkit, Kid Suck and Marilyn Manson while passing over one of the greatest albums of the decade. This and Undertow should've been on the original list. Thank you for correcting a major oversight.

Banger debut album. This one could've easily been on the original list. I had a girlfriend in high school that was a huge Depeche Mode fan, extra stars for the nostalgia trip.

I really dig this type of Americana Folk music. Awesome vocal harmonies. Nice pick for the user list.

Strong dream pop album. The vocals are standout but the bassist is the MVP. Killer basslines and great tone. Not sure how this got skipped in the original book.

Really nice laid back folk album. If this dude went on tour with Langhorne Slim and Caamp I'd hope they came close enough for me to go. With Autumn approaching I'll probably dive into more of his catalog.

As an aficionado of all things kraut, be it sauer, blau, or its distant cousin kimchi, krautrock is my favorite. This album kicks ass. So does their 2nd record. '70s German space rock is where it's at. Best album I've had on the user list so far.

Awesome album full of space rock bangers. Little Dipper is a nice heavy shoegazey opener and Songs of Farewell and Departure is a great mellow way to close the album. All killer and no filler in between. 39 albums into the user list and asking how Dimery and Co. missed this album is getting pretty redundant. Lol.

Chuck kicks ass. Never listened to Sum 41 before unless it was a tune on the radio. The Bitter End and 88 are straight bangers. Definitely a candidate for the original list.

High quality kosmische musik. This and Sowiesoso should've been on the original list. Great album and a great pick.
