1001 Albums Summary

Birthplace of a few hits, realised I actually like the man's voice after this album. More bluesy than folksy in places which I didn't expect.

First time I've listened to this album, surprisingly since I live Dog, Man, Star. The better end of brit pop with glam rock influences from Bolan and Bowie moulding Brett and Butler's sound.

Much better then I was expecting. Assumed it would be the same through but it's got great variety, running the gamut of 70s rock and blues.

Bought this years ago and never got around to listening to it properly into today. Really good, long before breakthrough success in the 90s.

I love this album. Remember buying it when it came out and sharing it with anyone who would listen. Sparse vocal and bass forward songs, almost ethereal.

Good to chill out and as background but not my genre. Appreciated it, like another review said multi-layered.
