Ragged Glory
Neil Young & Crazy HorseSurprisingly enjoyable grunge album. Not super grungy. Some more classic rock elements and a bit of country influence. Favorite tracks: Mansion on the Hill, Mother Earth (Natural Anthem)

Decent album, don't love the vocals. Enjoyed "Where Is My Mind?"
Incredible album, growing on me over the years. Still don't like Chris Rock's part from blame game. From Devil in a New Dress to Blame Game it's more up and down, with each song having great and ok parts. Favorite Tracks: 1-7, 12
Easy listening R&B album. 4 long songs is interesting, 45 minute length seemed to go by quickly. Favorite Track: Walk On By
Calm but somewhat anxious sound, can be a bit boring but is mostly enjoyable. Favorite tracks: Everything In It’s Right Place, Idioteque
Tons of variety and very cool sounds. It took me a while to realize it was dance music, some songs I still don't really fit the genre but in a good way. Feels ethereal at times, and very grounded at others. Great instrumentals mixed between songs. B side (starting with Flower) is a bit weaker, but still enjoyable. Favorite tracks: Porcelain, South Side, Run On, Inside
Fine bluesy jazz album. Not my favorite genre. Every song is good but sounds more or less the same.
Pretty typical smooth jazz to me. Nothing too stand out, but not much to criticize. Not my style. Favorite track: Smooth Operator
Pretty standard grunge/punk album. Don't love it or hate it. First time listening to Courtney Love, maybe knowing more about her would improve the experience. Favorite Track: Doll Parts
Pretty interesting alt rock album. Bjork’s band before her solo career, my first time listening to her. Good instrumentals, interesting singing but mostly nothing lyrics. Favorite track: Blue Eyed Pop
Bit pretentious to call yourself a genius in your own album, but I respect it. First half is big band music, second half is orchestral. Music was kind of boring to me, but he has a great voice and the album is well composed. Favorite Track: Alexander's Ragtime Band
Good album start to finish. Title track still stands far above the rest Favorite track: Hotel California
This sounds familiar musically, but I've never listened to music quite like this. I wouldn't want to frequently but it was pretty interesting. It's like orchestral pop, and reminds me of Frank Sinatra. I guess it's mostly covers of songs I haven't heard. Favorite track: Black Sheep Boy
Good most of the way through, some really annoying squeaky bits though that bring it down a lot (tracks 7, 10, 11). Sounds like a 2010s alternative album at times, so I guess ahead of it's time. Favorite track: Sunday Morning
Nice funky soul album. Favorite track: Sad Old Red
Good live album Favorite Tracks: Amazing Journey, Summertime Blues, My Generation
Mostly instrumental jazz live. Longs songs.
Pretty good pop/R&B album. Not much lyrical content through most of the album. Great vocals. Favorite track: Apple Pie À La Mode
Awesome heavy Queen album. 2 sides, for the white queen and the black. Favorite Track: March of the Black Queen
Surprisingly enjoyable grunge album. Not super grungy. Some more classic rock elements and a bit of country influence. Favorite tracks: Mansion on the Hill, Mother Earth (Natural Anthem)
Don't like this one much. Very braggadocios and full of not very creative sexual humor, prominent in most songs. Decent beats though.
Fun funky R&B album. Not too busy, good sounds. Favorite tracks: Summer Breeze, That Lady
Relaxing singer/songwriter type folk album. Nice string instrumentation but songs blend together a bit. Favorite track: Time Has Told Me, ' Cello Song
Really enjoyed this album. Wide variety of musical style. Mostly fun and relaxing, not too serious but not obnoxious. Favorite track: King's Lead Hat, Backwater
Decent bluesy country rock. Favorite Track: Bad Moon Rising
Standard classic rock album that was good enough to live on but isn’t all that special. Favorite track: Just What I Needed
Good album with laid back beats, flow and lyrics. Decently funny skits. Even fairly classy by gangster rap standards. Favorite tracks: G Funk Intro, Gz and Hustlas
Really great, wistful album. Fun rhythm and vocals, unique and lyrics with substance. Favorite tracks: Graceland, Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes, You Can Call Me Al
Hit or miss rock album with some bluesy tracks and others with pop elements. The poppy ones are enjoyable. Favorite tracks: Peace Frog, Land Ho!

Very smooth instrumental jazz. Relaxing. Favorite Track: Back at the Chicken Shack
Probably the darkest album I know. Impressive that m&m can stay as lighthearted as he does throughout it. The stuff he raps about it shocking, twisted, and evil, and he makes it believable, but when you step out of the moment it is obviously detached from reality. It is an exploration into the depth of what human thought is capable of, built off of the demons that Em must have been battling (or just accepting) in reality. Beats, rhymes, production, and flow are great. Favorite Track: Stan, The Real Slim Shady, I'm Back
Nice reggae album, although some tracks are repetitive. Favorite track: Marcus Garvey
Fantastic album. I particularly like the creative writing throughout many songs. Favorite Tracks: Here Comes The Sun, Octopus's Garden, You're Gonna Carry That Weight
Easy listening singer-songwriter album. Favorite Tracks: Wild World, Longer Boats, Father And Son
This album feels mostly instrumental even though only 2 songs are without lyrics. I think it sounds unfinished, it is enjoyable moment to moment but doesn't feel like a finished album.
Listening to an entire Beastie Boys album is a bit exhausting because their singing/rapping all sounds very similar (like shouting). There is a good variety of samples/beats on the album, and most songs are enjoyable enough on their own but it gets old. Favorite track: Shake Your Rump
Lot of noise but not enjoying it very much. First time intentionally listening to post-punk, but not a big fan so far. I'm sure he's saying things but it all sounds kinda like nonsense. Favorite Track: I Found That Essence Rare
Very solid modern rock album. Evidently Coldplay's early music was pretty influential, because every alt rock band in the 2000s/2010s was emulating these vibes. The slower songs stand out as the most unique and hard to reproduce. Favorite Track: The Scientist, Green Eyes
Slow classy jazz that spotlights vocals and piano, which are both great. Tasteful incorporation of other instruments on some songs. Favorite Track: Either Way I Lose, Lilac Wine
Fun upbeat old school Johnny B. Goode type songs, but live recordings aren’t my favorite. Favorite track: Great Balls of Fire
Songs are a bit long but very enjoyable Favorite Track: Golden Years
