1001 Albums Summary

Maybe it’s just too crude or rudimentary, but it just feels choppy and sloppy. RZA saved it.

Slaps. Solid collection of strings, keys and horns. The way Lou sings; humble, doesn’t over play it.

Jams.

Classic, heard it a bunch in my youth.

This is the longest jam session you’ll ever listen to. It’s clean.

Pretentiousness and posturing. The lead singers ego is something that casts a huge shadow on this band and it’s evident in the sounds.

Really enjoyed it. Fun little jams. Not too pretentious.

I mean it’s not something I’d throw on everyday but it’s not awful background noise.

It’s ok, heard most of it. Wouldn’t rush back or repeat.

I could vibe with it, not my go to genre, but there was something to be said for the way it was all put together.

This was a tough listen. Some melodies and jams but the writing lacks depth, so much so that it makes a lot of it boring and unlistenable.

This didn’t really do it for me. But to each their own I guess. Kinda sounded like every alternative rock band from the the uk in that era.

Love it. Great sounds. Great writing. Once you get over Geddys voice you can really appreciate the craft.

Kind of like U2 but a little quicker and more synthesized.

Throw enough shit and some of it sticks; I've had them pushed on me for a while and resisted and even listened to some of the other albums, not for me, this one sticks a little.

These are the sounds of the devil himself, and they slap.

There is quite the story with this cat. Odd stuff.

I liked this a lot more when it came out.

Between 3/4. I'm in a decent mood today. 4. Not as many of the classics as you'd expect.
