Fleetwood MacGood album, lots of variety on it, definitely worth a deep dive

I like some of Bowie’s music but mostly I like the idea and persona more than the music.
Great album, should add it to the regular rotation
The album that has Take me to the River is getting 5 stars automatically
I know this is not a 2 star album, I just don’t really like The Rolling Stones. So I can appreciate what they did and how people love them but they just never did it for me.

Listening to this in 2023, were one inclined to feel uncharitable, I would say this sounds kinda like Jack Black making a Tom Waits album. I like Tom Waits as a person more than as a singer unfortunately.
Pretty good for noise rock/electronica. Was unfamiliar with them before. Not sure what the right mood is to listen to this but I’ll probably revisit it again.
One of the top albums of the 2000’s garage rock revival. Really good stuff

Confederate Flag imagery aside, this is probably the perfect Southern Rock album
This is a really good album if you like Sinatra, just not really my jam.
I was 12 years old when this album came out, which is absolutely the peak time to hear it. I still have fond feelings for early Offspring records before they got a little cringey.
Not even my favorite Nick Cave album and it’s still a 5 star album.
I don’t even know how to rate this album in 2023. I probably listens to this more than any other album from 94 to 96. I think it still holds up as a prime 90’s pop-punk album, and is more enjoyable to listen to than most anything else from that era. There’s a reason Green Day is still more relevant than NOFX or Offpsring or any of the others.
Cool album I will probably never listen to again
Just a classic album
I love The Band and I love this album, classic Americana by a group of Canadians and one American. Justice for Levon Helm, I love Robbie Robertson too, but Helm was the soul of the band
What a great album, great for throwing on and drinking whisky, or staring off a porch into a dusky sunset.
If you want the funk, man this is the place to get it.
Reggae just really isn’t my jam, I can appreciate this for what it is and how important Bob Marley is, but it’s not something I’ll throw on with any regularity.
I don’t care for R.E.M.
Well that was a weird one
What a weird and delightful album
It’s fine, it’s late 90’s Brit-pop. There it on the background and no one will complain. Will I ever revisit it? Probably not
Well this was a surprise. Gonna add this into the list of artists worth a deeper dive into.
The kind of album you need to sit and just listen to, it’s not background music. You have to listen to the lyrics and let the gentle sadness and emotions wash over you.
