Odelay
BeckInteresting album. Rock with some hip hop vibes in terms of sampling and almost spoken word in some points. Some songs bordered on grungey metal, others were almost trip hoppy. Good drum breaks throughout.

Fun to listen to. Very old school, honky tonk, American bar vibe.
Some bangers, some misses.
Not bad for a rock album, 3 or 4 great tracks and some forgettable songs.
Great songs. Saloon american vibe.
A unique sound, but it got repetitive real fast. Good in short bursts.
Some forgettable soft rock.
Pretty good emotional gothic rock.
Great music that I wasn't aware was even made by Queen.
A little samey. Some great sounds for the first 1 or 2 tracks, but apart from "Wake Me up When September Ends", it loses its unique sound pretty quickly.
Some solid tunes but the album started to drag long after a while.
As expected, some great catchy songs from MJ
Really hard to listen to. Kind of monotone and bland, and just strangely edgy for the sake of sounding different, but it never ended up being very musical or fun.
Some beautiful piano music in here. Of course, it isn't as engaging as a lyrical pop song but if you listen to it and pay attention, it's still pretty incredible.
A surprisingly fun and musical album. At points it is whimsical, and doesn't take itself seriously, but at other times it provides some great musicality and weight.
Good music, great voice, brilliant vibes, but the lyrics are a bit cringeworthy at times.
No expectations, fantastic album. Groovy, funky, well made, and a lot of fun.
A nice peaceful album. Sounds great, not much else to say.
Steely Dan is not one of my favourite bands from the era, something about the sound is just not quite there.
Some ok instrumentation but awful singing.
Really
Music was fine, singing got harsh at some points, but overall not bad.
Amazing.
Not bad musically, honestly not my vibe but a good album nonetheless.
A surprisingly pleasant album.
Not bad, but not my speed.
One of the most interesting albums I've ever heard.
Fantastic album, lots of different yet consistently good genre crossing music.
Honestly, didn't expect to like a country album this much.
Was alright, nothing spectacular.
Good reason why this album is on the list.
Some good instrumentation, but why is this list so rock heavy?
This is what I want from this project. Something I never would have listened to otherwise, but was still beautiful in many ways.
It started off alright, but by the end, I understood the hype around Jimi Hendrix.
There are some parts which are okay musically, but her voice is just terrible. I could barely understand the lyrics, which according to the other reviews are quite good? Oh well. I struggle to see how this made this list.
Wonderful big band album. Great variety in the tracks, yet they all sounded fantastic, this is the type of music that I want from this list. Different and unique.
Being a kiwi, I feel pressured to rate this high. It isn't a bad pop album by any means, but it is still a pop album, and I find it hard to rate it highly because of that fact. It has some good songs, but it still comes off as trying to appeal to the mass market.
Great classic dad rock.
Surprisingly good. Didn't expect to listen to such a beautiful album.
Not bad, some decent instrumentation at points, but the singing was grating, and it felt a little experimental at times. I guess punk isn't for me.
Some alright parts, but I think this album really reminds me why I don't like country. Even with that in mind, I just don't find the music all that fresh or compelling.
I think this guy believes his voice is nicer than it really is.
Simply great music, even if it has been made cheesy by Hollywood. Can't deny how well made it is.
Not bad. I can't say I'm the biggest Steely Dan fan, but there are some alright songs here. Still feel like other bands captured more emotion than these guys.
Fresh and fun, even today.
Some fine rock, nothing crazy.
Some interesting sound design, but nothing particularly compelling.
I'm really starting to get sick of rock, even though this is undeniably a pretty good live performance.
A few amazing tracks in here, really quite surprised, though some are definitely quite forgettable.
Fun, and well varied.
I'm sure hard rock fans like this, but I don't see how this is any more groundbreaking than the other hard rock albums before it.
Very American. It's ok.
Surprisingly enjoyable. His voice wasn't the best, but the music was great.
A nice poppy feel good album.
I don't understand how this is particularly good rock.
Not what I would normally listen to, but undeniably an incredibly well made and powerful album.
This is some fun great high energy rock that screams the 70s and 80s.
Biased as I have loved Fatboy Slim for a long time, but there just isn't anyone who makes music that sounds or feels quite like this.
Very different, yet fresh.
Cute little old American album
Surprisingly good for its age, and incredibly fresh and innovative for an electronic album of this time.
This album is ass
Surprisingly fun and fresh album
Great jazz
Pretty good country rock album
This style of music really doesn't carry well to today.
Pretty good actually.
Some bangers but mostly just solid music, nothing crazy.
Some good songs but a bit samey. Not for me.
Completely forgettable
Nice production and voice, but they don't add up to anything particularly compelling.
I don't get it at all.
Surprisingly fresh and forward looking electronic music, especially for it's time.
