1001 Albums Summary

Somewhere between mid and fine. A couple hight points, one absolute stinker, and a lot of extremely polished, unexceptional pop rock. Joe Walsh is a great guitar player.

Classic soul album. Songwriting, singing, instrumentation are all fantastic. Easy 5/5.

Excellent mix of jazz, hip hop, and reggae influences. Very Lauryn Hill-ish.

Not my favorite Bowie. Instrumentals are a little uninteresting, they sound like they could be any random 70s band. Decent. Stay is a really good song.

A lot of interesting guitar work. Some of the songs are really good, a couple get a little boring. Overall really good.

Really nice, classic country songwriting. Harmonized vox across the album are great, mixed in with guitar, lap steel, piano, fiddle. Definitely some stuff worth coming back to and learning.

Just so mid. All the songs sound the same, all the instruments are playing the same riff like half the time. The vox and instruments do sound good, and it feels too well put together to give it lower than a 3. But I was bored listening to this.
