Killing Joke
Killing JokeVery techno and seemingly punk. Rough, gritty, grinding and monotonous at times.
Very techno and seemingly punk. Rough, gritty, grinding and monotonous at times.
This is a pretty solid album. Had not listened to it for awhile.
Not a fan of heavy metal. Some songs better than others-those were not too bad. Definitely has that driving beat to most songs.
At times the rapping seems really repetitive(same rhythms) which wears me out a bit with so much of it on the album. Singing is great and Lauryn slays(no surprise).
There are some songs I like on this album but I do find that constant distorted guitar a bit wearing by the end of the album. A bit average overall.
This was a really nice listen. Bob might not have the prettiest voice but his wordsmithing is brilliant.
Great live album. Infectious energy!
I had never heard this album. Started out seemingly grunge like alternative but smoothed out after that. I liked the vibe
I have never heard this album before. Synthed up sounds including the organ. Grungy at times. Definitely alternative. Some songs hit better than others.
I had not listened to this album before. It was a bit of a challenge.
Bleak, dark and full of angst.
Great jamming. Nice improv in playing-looser live and line that. Had not heard this entire album before.
I had never heard of these artists or this album but I do like venturing into international music. It could be a bit repetitive at times but I did enjoy it. Nice cultural experience.
I had never heard of this group or album. Was dreading it with the punk notation in genre. Was pleasantly surprised with their music. A pretty good listen.
I know this album! Really like it. Classic Elvis Costello!
A bit funky and unique. Seems really experimental. Very different sound for the time.
Have not heard anything like this. Not really digging it at all. Very dark, loud and macabre.
I had not heard before. Nicely orchestrated and executed.
I had never heard of this group or this album. Pleasantly surprised. Nice vibe. Repetitive but that is not atypical with electronic music so not unexpected. Great background music.
Gritty with quite a bit of energy. Definitely has that garage band vibe. A bit over the top at times.
I have always been an EBTG fan. Happy to see something I knew and had listened to. This album was quite a departure from their prior ones but I loved it. I generally like it when artists try new things.
Energetic. Like What’s the Stiry Morning Glory better
Classic Johnny Cash. Great listen!
More melodic than anticipated. Energetic. A bit repetitive.
Had not heard this album or artist before. Nice album.
Nice listen. Had a gamut of styles-smooth, bouncy, edgy.
Very techno and seemingly punk. Rough, gritty, grinding and monotonous at times.
A bit folksy. Upbeat. Never heard of group or album. Felt a bit monochromatic overall.
Totally Prince and totally love it!
Not sure how I feel about this one. Don’t love it but don’t hate it either.
Middle better than beginning and end. I found it kind of meh. Not my cup of tea.
It’s Dylan and all about the words.
I am not a huge rap fan and was not familiar with this particular album. There are some nice songs but overall felt too long.
Had never heard this of album or group. Definitely has a 60’s vibe to it. Like the horns, some of the orchestrations and guitar. Overall not too bad.
I love The Who. Had not heard this specific live album. A little long for listening and some songs ok. Still think they are good live though.
Fats is a legend and his music is great. Enjoyed listening to this.
This album is in my top 20 of all time. Classic!
Never heard of the band and never listened to this band before. Has more of a pop edge to it. Not a bad listen.
Mad respect for the Queen. She slays!
I like the Flaming Lips. Nice little diversion-pretty middle of the road.
I like electronic music. However, this album was way too long and seemed quite monotonous in many places. Added sound effects/voices really did not add much to this as they were too repetitive(grated on my nerves to hear over and over)
Not what I consider typical hip-hop/rap. Pretty smooth listen-melodic and flowing nice. Would listen to it again.
Yes, please!!! Full of energy. New wave vibing. Ear candy for me today!!!
Eclectic mix of hip hop, slide guitar and perhaps some South American rhythm. Interesting to listen to.
Total 80’s vibe. Overall ok.
Punched me in the face to start. 1st part was not really my cup of tea even after the initial punch. Messiah Ward was a nice break there. 2nd part much better. Overall a long listen. Consider this ok-not supreme or terrible.
Rap is just not my thing but it was ok
Love ABBA and their ear candy.
Celtic. Folk. Punk. Interesting combination leading to some great music and storytelling. I was leery when I read the title but actually enjoyed.
One of their best! Powerful music and lyrics.
Album of covers so not really feeling this is on par with later albums. Good energy
Classic 70’s rock. Forceful energy.
Not a hip hop/rap fan. Don’t hate it but don’t love it either.
Not a bad album. Just ok.
My son likes this album but I do not. Too much thrumming in my head.
Absolutely hated this album. Lyrics nonsensical and annoying
This was just ok
Totally 80’s new wave vibe pop music. Energetic and upbeat. Nice on the ears!!!
This was a really nice album. I love exploring new international music.
Nope. Not a fan of this one.
Techno new wave vs post punk. It was ok but not exceptional.
Poppy and punk mixed together. Energetic and a bit fun.
This is a classic and I love it!
Good listen!
This was ok
