Green River
Creedence Clearwater RevivalTop heavy but really fucking good.
Top heavy but really fucking good.
BANGER.
born to run and 10th avenue freeze down are standouts, other than that, not huuuge into it.
Like: - Bring it on down (the hives-like bridge) - Live Forever - Slide Away - Married with children - Supersonic
Surprisingly good - chill vibes with some Daft Punk, some Funk. Great for a smoke session.
Maxine -- CDMX shoutout <3 Overall the album sounds really really fucking good. Good for chilling. Some Hall & Oates vibes with some Jazz, Funk/Soul, maybe even a bit of Daft Punk in there. Donald Fagen --> Steely Dan's lead singer.
Gotta listen again -- definitely groundbreaking but not quite my style.
Pretty crazy. Ambient, experimental. Not quite my jam but this was pretty ahead of its time.
This didn't really do it for me -- nothing particularly outstanding.
Pretty decent
Really really solid, much more scaled-back from Beatles albums but awesome nonetheless. Works very well listening to it as a whole in one sitting. Some standouts: Every Night, Momma Miss America, Maybe I'm Amazed.
Interesting solo in down in a hole - very bluesy. Dam that river was good. God Smack was good. The rest is quite repetitive. 2 tracks left to listen to
Tons of different genres. Metal, Ska, Funk, etc. Fun listen when needing something random to play. May need a couple of listens for it to grow on me.
Ella singing classics. What else can be said.
Pretty fun but nothing extraordinary. Free Bird. Great for driving.
it's okay.
pretty cool for a drive - great melodies and harmonies. not an everyday album though.
Darker and more progressive than other Beach Boys material I've heard. Really fucking good.
Instant fucking classic. I've gone back and through the years on Green Eyes -- weakest track in what's otherwise an incredibly good album. Makes me sad for what could've been.
Very very 90s - even the telephone dial up sounds. Feels like a time capsule. Kinda fun and would probably put it on for a drive but everyone would ask for different music 5 minutes in. Also not quite for me.
didn't really do much for me... good listen but felt like an intersection between Bob Dylan and Lou Reed.
Some standout tracks here and there.
It's Duke.
Tom Sawyer --> classic banger. YYZ has a lot of funk influence, while other tracks are much more metal leaning. Tom Sawyer, YYZ standouts, the rest is okay.
Very interesting, needs a couple more listens. Very diverse in terms of instrumentation.
Classic Simon & Garfunkel. LOVE, but deserves more listens.
I don't really like hip hop or rap and I'm very much a neophyte in those genres but this shit is honestly so so unbelievably good.
god damn
Gem of an album, just a joy to listen to.
