Violator
Depeche ModeEh. I liked parts of the album, but was kind of over it by the end. I hear the influences of other British artists and it’s very synth heavy but I don’t think I’m the audience for this FULL album, more like bits and pieces.

Hauntingly sad, in a good way. Very much the blues, and I would love to hear this covered by someone who really can sing the blues (not that I didn’t enjoy the spoken word poetry vibe, but I think the songs would SOAR with the right voice). Clearly inspirational for the writers of the Hadestown musical.
Not everything is for everyone, and this is not for me. The lead singer’s voice sounds like I’m at karaoke night. Idk if it’s an artistic choice and he actually has a beautiful voice, but art is subjective 🤷🏽♀️. I think they’re each clearly very very skilled at their instruments and that was fun to listen to. I also don’t love that 9 songs is over an hour of listening time. All of the songs kind of blended into one another and at a certain point I had no idea if the song had changed or not. Maybe I just am not the audience for the genre, I guess I’ll see when I get deeper into the list.
I like jazz. Very calming and chill, good for focusing at work or for background music on a date or while reading. No complaints but I also probably wouldn’t choose it just to blast in the car. Very impressed with the artists instrumental talent!
Loved it. Really made me think about where music would be if he wasn’t murdered. Poetic and beautiful and sad and great
Liked it, very 2000s/2010s indie teen movie. Probably wouldn’t play it through again but I didn’t mind it while it was on!

A lot of reverb. I get how it was influential but it genuinely overstimulated me.
Loved it! I could hear the influences of past bands as well as the influence this album had on music going forward. And lovely vocals!
Genuinely fine. Not much else to say, liked it but probably wouldn’t repeat.
Fine. Obvious classics, some that bored me.
Amazingly done. Once in a lifetime talent.
I liked it. Very classic, and I can definitely recognize pieces of it.
I liked it. Not really sure what Eric Clapton contributed. I think it’s interesting when white men perform black music and then support racism when they’re older.
Deeply 90s.
Beautiful jazz
Loved it
Not for me
Thought I hated it at first but it definitely got better as it went!
Good!
It was exactly what I expected it to be lol
Got progressively weirder as it went
