Elvis Presley

Energiek, maar niet helemaal mijn ding.
I can understand why people with long hair feel cool / enjoy themselves when listening to this, but too many owows and aeeaeeas for my taste.
Nice voice and comforting music, but wouldn't necessarily listen again.
I enjoyed the background choir and I like Suspicious Minds, just don't like Elvis.
Big Poppa is a classic, but the entire album feels quite aggressive and I'm not very into rap in general.
Bit unsettling but not too much to not want to listen to it.
Very powerful yet with ominous undertones. Love Hey. Would give between 4 and 5 if possible.
Had never heard of it before but thought it was fine. Wouldn't necessarily listen again.
Made the mistake of listening to the full 2,5 hours only to find out the original album was only the first 10 songs. Still, did like it, would perhaps listen again in a while.
Really not my thing, did make me laugh listening to it while drawing.
Really not a fan of Christmas music in general, but the variety of great artists and the amount of Christmas classics makes up for it. If I would be a bigger fan of Christmas this would be my favorite album.
Nice background music, but no song really stood out to me enough to want to listen to it again.
I like Dusty's voice and love Summer Is Over, but I wouldn't necessarily listen to the album again.
Calming music but never boring. I had never heard of Robert Wyatt before but I really enjoyed this album; it reminded me of both Nick Drake and Blackstar by David Bowie. Will probably listen again.
I am generally not a big fan of Coldplay, and particularly dislike their music of the latest years, but I guess this album is okay. Still I found it quite boring and wondered 2 times during listening it whether it was close to ending already.
One of my favourite Bowie albums, so much so that I don't listen to it that often anymore to avoid the songs losing their magic. Although all the songs have a weirdness to them, with some unconventional build-ups and unrecognizable sounds, the first 70% of the album consists of absolute bangers. Then the strangeness diverges into a very ominous final part, which is both a shame and a bold move. Even so, I can appreciate the contrast; it makes you leave the album with a very different feeling than when starting it.
They are unique, out of this world, and apparently their live performances were phenomenal. I'm happy that I knew them before I started listening, otherwise you don't know what's coming to you. For their legacy and uniqueness, I would give them 4 stars, but this is the most unsettling album I have ever listened to and I don't think I would ever want to listen to it again, so 1 star off for me.
Very R&B, which is usually not really my thing, but some interesting polyphony gave it some extra appeal. Just like most R&B, it would be suitable as background music in almost any situation, but if I have some attention to spare I think I would prefer a different album.
In general, I enjoy a song or two by Rufus Wainright, but for an entire album all enjoyment is lost. His voice is producing sound 95% of the time, and I found myself wondering multiple times when the album would be done. Still the classical/orchestral elements are interesting, and probably the music is qualitatively good.
