I remembered why I don’t listen to full The Cure Albums. Too much whining more me. Needs mood changes. The radio plays are still good songs.
I figured I’d listen to this when I was in the mood to hear Get Out of My Dreams and Into my Car. Then, I realized it was a different and forgot until the text chain yesterday. I am now listening to Billy Ocean then Gwar cover Billy Ocean to rid of this trash. One positive was Crack Pipe.
I got sent to a double album that was super long where songs repeated. I realized it when I felt like I was hearing the same instrumentals. Overall, it was alright.
Some good stuff. Great guitars. Long for a live show. Could’ve cut Jimmy the Weed.
There are just so many better albums in this genre. Nothing stood out to me, but probably fun live.

Radiohead full albums just never do it for me. It is like a lesser newer King Crimson with a whinny voice. I do think they would be interesting live.
The Calvary Cross was a good tune. I didn’t care for the girl ballads. If you swapped those for more upbeat stuff, I would’ve liked it more.

Easy 5 stars. Great album that still holds up. Brutality’s cover of Electric Funeral and Pantera’s cover of Planet Caravan are both worth a listen.
This has so many good songs that I went to a 5. Overall, I would go a little heavier but the whole thing is just too solid for me to go to a 4. I’d be about 4.6.

Every song started and I thought, this is going to suck. The ones that picked up were a pleasant surprise. I’m not sure if I would’ve rated it under 3 stars but he hypnotized me to round up.

It’s been a long time since I listened to this album. I pretty much listen to Dead shows. American Beauty will forever remind me of my brother partying in our basement. For that alone, it gets 5 stars.
Beatles solo stuff is basically a hit or dud for me. This could be played with a lot of skips. I’d rather have their greatest hits than individual albums.
If I’m getting an Old Fashioned, this is just fine. While I’m pressure washing my deck, it isn’t the best choice.

When I saw this, I thought, “why did Rocky’s brother’s album make this list?” That is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever thought. I’m glad it wasn’t that and was this fun, funky album.
The hits are still really good. It drags on at the end. Pearl Jam was never my favorite but the album is really good.
I think everyone doing this can agree that 1 Nick Cave was enough.
