1001 Albums Summary

Listened 2024-12-24 @ 9:00 AM I've started listening to LCD Soundsystem in college but I haven't listened to the full album in so long. Tracks 4 and 5 are my favorite of the album.

Great album. definitely a four-star for me, brought me back to high school summer trips with friends.

I stopped listening after Yellow, but I enjoyed it .

I haven't listened to this album is over a decade. Now that I'm older, it hits different.

1st song is the best in the album.

not really my genre at this point in my life. maybe 10 years ago.

What a beautiful and quiet album. It’s something I’d have to dedicate more than a day to fully appreciate, as it doesn’t immediately jump out to me as the kind of music I’d normally listen to. Reading about how it was recorded was really cool, but at this point in my life, the genre just isn’t for me.

I hear the influence on Muse and Radiohead

Amazing

Complex and intricate music. A blend of folk and jazz, or better yet it feels both ancient and experimental. It's so interesting to listen to that it makes me want to learn more. I can hear traces of it in artists I enjoy, like Fleet Foxes, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Decemberists
