Aside from one or two standouts, mostly a downtrodden album - very downbeat, even on songs called things like surfs up

less whiny than usual

Just can't fault the majority of this, although it really is more of the same at a certain point - a few individual songs don't really vibe with the rest though

Needs to fully commit to the weird

Really fun but a lot of the overly repetitive parts can get annoying

It's slightly more jarring than I remember it being - just doesn't quite feel like I can slap a 5 on it

Diss track is funny but just not great after that

Thought Brian Eno was meant to be 15 minute ambient songs what happened here

Has some weak songs which make the length and repetitiveness get to me, but when it's good it's excellent

Unbelievably edgy but what else do you expect, the actual lyricism is mostly really good and imaginative. Any bad song on here gets cancelled out by Stan/RSS

Second half of the album was great, kind of like if the cure took more drugs - shame that the first half of the album had about 3 reverbs on the master channel

Some really wack songs, really feels like musically they're hitting the expected groove but falls flat lyrically and rhythmically on certain tracks - although it's possibly I'm comparing too harshly to their later work

Even the songs I didn't know yet went hard, maybe it's just a nostalgia trip but was a great listen

The blues stuff was really fun, the soul part was a bit bland and sadly made up a large majority of the album

Enjoyed it more than I thought I would - Hiding All Away is a huge track, but doesn't save the rest of the album's sameiness

Absolute vibez
