Strong start to the album, but overall just ok. —> 3.5 stars
My jazz background is in La La Land and Soul, so don’t come for me.

-Get it Together isn’t so bad, but I think it’s because someone else is on the track.
-Sabrosa is funky, I dig it.
I like the music on some of these tracks, but I can’t handle the vocals. This album ain’t for me. 2.5 Stars

I like the mix of flute/folk style with classic rock. Not something I’d normally listen to, but it probably does deserve another listen at some point. - 3.5 Stars
This album feels a little bit like a bait and switch. Gimme Shelter goes so hard, then it’s just kind of ok for the majority of the album, and then it picks back up at the end with You Can’t Always Get What You Want. Maybe I’d appreciate it more with another listen. 3.5 Stars

Apparently I wasn’t paying attention during the song about not wanting immigrants in the UK. So while I enjoyed the sound of this album and some of the songs, I have to reduce my rating. 2 Stars.
Not really for me. I liked “Warrior in Woolworths” and “I Can’t Do Anything” the most. 2.5 Stars.

I like Michael Kiwanuka’s voice and guitar in a lot of these. You Ain’t the Problem, I’ve Been Dazed, and Hero were the standouts to me. 4 stars.
RHCP is hit or miss for me and the majority of this album is a miss. I like the guitar and some of the vocals in I Could Have Lied, but it’s just ok. I can't express how much I hate Suck My Kiss and Give it Away. Under the Bridge is good, but not enough to save this album. 1 Star.

Masters of War feels very relevant still.

Well, that was…something. I’m too much of square for this kind of psychedelic/avant-garde music. 1 stars
The perfect voice for an album as tender and romantic as this one. The standout songs for me were Don’t Know Why, Come Away With Me, Turn Me On, and Painter Song. I wish there was a bit more variety and range in the songs, but it’s a solid album overall.

There’s just not really anything worth listening to here. She Talks to Angels is probably the best song on the album, but that’s not saying much.
Not really my style, but I did enjoy Going Out of My Head, First Down, and Michael Jackson.
I liked aspects of several songs, but overall most made me feel impatient. When it felt like we should be moving on to the next part of the song, it would just repeat the same sequence again.
