Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
May 10 2025

Great grooves and a set of songs that feel like they really surround you. Sex Machine is insane.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
May 11 2025

About as perfect a rock album as there could be, the swamp rock feel is here as you’d expect but blended with soul, r&b, rock n roll and country the band span numerous sub genres while it all sounds of a piece and of a whole. Lookin’ out my Back Door and Up Around the Bend are excellent rock singles, the extended jams of Ramble Tamble and I Heard it Through the Grapevain submerge you in the swamp and Long as I Can See the Light is a perfect closer.

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
May 12 2025

Good, though it starts to feel a tad samey as many of the songs feel similar. Nothing here’s bad though, and plimpf is a great closer

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
May 13 2025

Really great album. Has a unified sound while each song still feels unique, Everybody Want to Rule the World is an all-timer and Listen really stood out this time. I Believe is a dud that slows the album down however imo

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
May 14 2025

A bit long but doesn’t overstay it’s welcome. Great sound and I like Kiedis’ voice for the most part.

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
May 19 2025

A little smoother than I would’ve liked (maybe the fault of my expectations) but it’s good and there’s some great songs, Summer. Breeze is a classic for a reason.
