Fifth Dimension
The ByrdsThis is one of those classic psydellic albums that make a huge impact and sticks with you long after you've heard it. This is one of those bands you heard about but probably never listened to.

While the band may have been falling apart they were still firing on all cylinders creatively. Songs like Something, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, and even I Want You (She's So Heavy) are all classics. The entire album front to back is total perfection. I pulled out my vinyl copy just to revisit this masterpiece of an album.
Grace Slick's vocals alone make this worth a listen but then you have classics like Plastic Fantastic Lover and 3/5 Of A Mile In 10 Seconds that showcase a band who were one of the pillars of psychedelic rock. It's an album you love or hate. It truly is a snapshot of a time that we will never see again.
This is an amazing record that you don't think you'll like but every song here is well written and instantly becomes a favorite because it exists in a place that defies everything you expect and becomes the kind of record you urge everyone to listen to because it's so perfect,
It's hard to hate an album this good. The Crickets were the launching pad for Buddy Holly and while at times it may sound dated this is the stuff that made rock and roll so great. Total classic
I was 14 when this album came out and I hated it then and after forcing myself to listen to it now I realized I still hate it. Songs are boring and his voice annoys me. I never liked his music and I still don't. The only songs I didn't hate were the final three. Dirty Diana is a banger so that at least gives the album one star.
Never been a fan of this band and the songs you have heard were played to death. If it hadn't been for Mtv no one would have cared about this. There are a couple decent songs here. Got Me Under Pressure and TV Dinners are the only decent songs on this overrated album
Even if you don't like Morrissey this album is one of those ones that just grows on you and get better with each listen
Starting off Save Me arrives with a whimper and lyrically it's the kind of song that wants to be important and loved by everyone but K.d. Lang's voice grows irritating to me sounds whiny. It's a boring album that soccer moms and Karens listen to too make themselves seem cool but the album just plods along without offering anything to the listener but frustration for wasting their time on this crap. I couldn't even finish the damn album. Constant Craving is an awful song. It's the kind of crap you'd hear in Pottery Barn when it's full of people and you can't find a way out.
This is an amazing album. One of Bowie's best
Aside from Layla I just couldn't get into this one. I've never been into Clapton so that could be where the problem is
I've heard a lot about Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and Murder Ballads was a great place to start listening. Nick's voice is hypnotic and addicting, This is the kind of album that instantly grabs your attention and instantly makes you a fan. Great stuff that isn't for everyone but should be. This so good and it's almost impossible to pick just one good song because they're all good.
Despite the minimal involvement of Brian Wilson, Surf's Up is one The Beach Boys greatest albums. There's enough psychedelic stuff here to remind people just great these guys here. I even liked Student Demonstration Time even though its by far the weakest track on the album. The Long Promised Road is a reminder that as a band this is a band who are able to create memorable songs that demand to be revisited. This is an album that fans of psyche will love and even if it's not your style of music this is still a collection of great songs.
I own a mono copy of this on vinyl and it's an album that never gets old. Perfect front to back and an inspiration to so many bands. When you talk about creating a great album everyone places this on their list of albums to beat and no one has, Start to finish Sgt. Peppers is sheer perfection. Not just the production but the song writing is amazing. It's an inluential pschedelic album that ushered in a time when bands were experimenting with different sounds and even ideas. This simply gets better everytime I hear it.
I simply couldn't bring myself to stream this so I pulled this off my shelf and absorbed this in analog on my trusty turntable. What can I say about this that hasn't already been said? It's quirky and sounds nothing else which is what I love about it. Top notch songwriting propells this into being one of the greatest album ever created.
I'm sure there are people that love this album but I am not of them. Not a record I could get into. I did try though
In interesting album by an artist I've never heard. It's not a rock album and fits snugly into that singer songwriter genre that was huge in the 70's. Not something I would ever seek out, but I didn't hate it.
Classic punk album. Loved it
As ifluential as it may be this doesn't make a must listen. There are some good songs here but it's not an album you need to hear more than once. It's an okay album but it doesn't make me immediatley become a fan of hip hop. It's an album that people swear is perfect but it wears thin after track 5. Best songs are the last 4. I suffered through the first half.
It's a decent pop album that may not be for everyone but the guy can sing and that's what saves it.
Easily on of their best albums
This is one of those classic psydellic albums that make a huge impact and sticks with you long after you've heard it. This is one of those bands you heard about but probably never listened to.
At first I didn't like this album but as the years have gone by I began to love this album. Part pop punk, part new wave, it's an album that gets better with age.
Interesting to say the least. Not something I could get into but I did like the Cover of Slip Inside This House which was originaly done by one of my favorite band The 13th Floor Elevators.
Great album that fans of Steely Dan will love
I love this album so much I even have a copy on vinyl. Best four bucks I ever spent. From start to finish Tapestry is all about great songwriting and.this is one album I simply can't live without. Doesn't matter what other people say about this record. I love it and it had certainly aged well.
I've never been a huge Aerosmith fan. More of certain album type of guy. Love Rocks and Draw The Line and ignored a lot of it including this but man was I wrong. Pump is a classic that starts off strong and while there are weak songs even those aren't that bad. Ranks right up there with Rocks and has has now become one of my favorite Aerosmith albums.
Pulled this off the shelf and was once again amazed at how brilliant this album truly is. It's a little punk a little new wave but that's the thing I love about this album. It simply exists and songs like the title track and even Real Life are pieces of a musical puzzle that needed to be created.
Not everyone likes Dylan but the thing is he may not have the greatest singing voice but his songwriting more than makes up for it. Like A Rolling Stone is one of greatest songs ever written. Highway 61 revisted is a classic.
Weird album but sometimes weird is good. There aren't your normal type songs and I'm glad for that. A Chicken With Its Head Cut Off is just one of the great songs on this sprawling set.
Not a genre I'm into, but I tried to get into it. I failed
When it comes to classic albums Rumours is an album that you would be afraid to release a follow up but Fleetwood Mac attempted it. Tusk finds the band taking a few risks and for the most part they work. Tusk is a sprawling set that has classics like the title track and The Ledge. Is it better than Rumours? Almost and it shows a band moving forward and Tusk is a great album that stands proudly on its own merits.
I remeber when this was first released and I wasn't all that interested in it. I didn't like the title track or any of the singles I had heard. Hearing it for the first time I still don't like it. Her voice annoys me and the songs are boring. I don't get it.
One of my favorite albums that starts off strong and ends even stronger
Amazing album. Perfect even.
A little weird but I didn't hate it.
This is an interesting record and one you wouldn't expect to like because it's so different. There are so many different genres sprinkled here surprisingly they all work. It's not something you need to be in the mood for and even then you're not fully prepared for what you're hearing.
I love this album and listen to it quite often. A great punk album that brought punk into the mainstream
This was the first Roxy music album I had heard. I found a beat up copy on vinyl a year ago and instantly became a fan. I had missed out on them as a teen and even as a young adult but now as soon as I heard Do The Strand I was hooked. Each song is a classic.
Almost a perfect album and a true historic document but Planet Caravan keeps this from being an album I listen to regularly. There's better Sabbath albums than this.
I liked this a lot. Great stuff

This is such a great album that is a psychelic masterpiece. There is definate a a Beatles sound to it and at times sounds like outakes from Sgt. Pepper which isn't a bad thing.
Not very good.
Not a Zeppelin fan but I was at one point but I got burned out on them and feel that they're a tad overrated Graffiti is would be better if it were trimmed a bit and all of the filler were removed. All you really need is The Rover, Houses Of The Holy and Kashmir. Nothing here stands out but it's not a terrible album. Just too long and at times it's a little boring.
What can I say about this album that no one else has said? Juvenile? Groundbreaking? Sure and it paved the way for other white rappers. There isn't a bad song to be found here and it when you listen to it it should be played loud.
Rust In Peace is by far the best Megadeth record. It feels more focused than their previous efforts and songs like Tornado Of Souls and Holy Wars..The Punishment Due are proof that Dave was finally emerging from the shadow of Metallica and creating great music.
Grace Slick's vocals alone make this worth a listen but then you have classics like Plastic Fantastic Lover and 3/5 Of A Mile In 10 Seconds that showcase a band who were one of the pillars of psychedelic rock. When it comes to classic great albums this is one that is perfect from beginning to end. She's The One, the title track. and Backstreets are stone cold classics.
Aside from the title track, School's Out is an okay album. Not terrible at all and there are some really good tracks here. My Stars is by far the best song here but there are far better albums than this one but because School's Out is such an iconic song everyone seems to gravitate to this as Alice's best. There are some clunkers here. Blue Turk, and even Gutter Cats vs. The Jests among those that just seem to ramble on. I like Alice, but I think Pretties For You and Killers are far better than this.
