Couple of tunes early on but album seemed to drift. Decent but not great

Nice Voice. Enjoyable to start with but struggled towards the end and I found myself wishing it over. Can’t see what would put this above other similar genre albums

Didn’t get it. Can’t think of what mood I’d need to be in to listen to this again and enjoy it.

Enjoyable. Funky. Clearly talented musician. Maybe too much going on at points.

Can be difficult to judge musical genres which are completely outside of your comfort zone. This is a pleasant and enjoyable listen but can’t really say if it’s truly great or not

Having never listened to an Elton album in full, I enjoyed. A compilation of fine songs. Would be interested to know (so will listen to!) how this album rates against his others.

An excellent album. Full of atmospheric tunes. The hits are hits, the album tracks add depth.

Sounds like an album made by 12 years olds. Poor, very poor.

Some good, some bad here. Guitar work took me by surprise in places. Overall enjoyable and always nice to hear someone who makes me believe I could still be a singer!!

Bland, generic 80s American ‘rock’.

Some absolute classics here and also a few not.

I know music has changed so much since this album was recorded but it’s the first time I’ve not been able to finish the album. Simply unlistenable.

I like Muse. This is a good album, but it’s not a great, in fact prefer earlier offerings.

Don’t like it as much as I think I should! Still prefer The Bends and will return to that every time I need a Radiohead fix

I’ve not got time to listen to this kinda shit. Got through 3 songs and turned this nonsense off. Not an album that needs to be heard in any way.

Interesting. Has a real time and place feel about it. Enjoyable, funky album but lacks real star quality.

Enjoyed this. Having never listen led much to Beach Boys this was more than I expected.

Sounds like a perfect album for a western themed restaurant here in UK. Not sure that’s a compliment.

Always tend to find that bands that play at a fast tempo are hiding their lack of talent. Classic example here

Tina’s talent shines through here on an album that contains a few bangers. A few signs of the 80s era not aging brilliantly but overall a good listen

Big fan of this album when released and big fan of it now. Contains some generational classics as well as some very decent album ‘fillers’.
