Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jul 25 2025

A classic

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jul 28 2025

Overplayed in my area. Payola big time.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Aug 05 2025

Wow. Very esoteric. Expected Bowie to explore the fringes and this album has that.

British Steel by Judas Priest
Aug 06 2025

Personally I think one of the best albums the band released.

Aug 07 2025

Wow. What a blast from the past. This is a double album with a few live tracks thrown in on the last part of the second disc. One thing is for sure this was meant to be listened to from side to side. This was written, produced, recorded, arranged, and performed to be listened to end to end and side to side.

Space Ritual by Hawkwind
Aug 08 2025

It is what it is. If you want to space out and go back to the 60’s then this is a good album for you.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Aug 11 2025

Not sure I’ve heard this one before. Most of the songs are familiar but not memorable. Good one for the nostalgia.

Abraxas by Santana
Aug 12 2025

Quite the album for Santana. I bet this shot him from being a huge talent to an international star. Great listening.

C'est Chic by CHIC
Aug 13 2025

Definetly a blast from the past. The one song puts them on the map.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Aug 14 2025

Classic album. Very easy to listen to.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Aug 18 2025

Classic album. Would listen to this again no problem.

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Aug 19 2025

Wow. What a blast from the past. Too bad they didn’t have very many hits.

Shaka Zulu by Ladysmith Black Mambazo
Aug 20 2025

Really good album and you can see where Paul Simon and the talking heads got there special singers from.

Vespertine by Björk
Aug 22 2025

Really good album. It too me back to the 80’s.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Aug 25 2025

Really good album. It too me back to the 80’s.

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Aug 26 2025

Really good album. It too me back to the 80’s.

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
Aug 27 2025

Really good album if you like French movie soundtracks. The artist was very prolific as there were about 20 albums listed under his name. Not my genre but it looks like it was very popular in the sixties.

Rid Of Me by PJ Harvey
Aug 28 2025

Not my genre but it looks like it was very popular somewhere.

69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields
Aug 29 2025

Wow. This was bad. I can’t help thinking how this album was financially backed by someone or some group. To each his own and for me this was cringe worthy.

Sep 01 2025

Finished listening to this album and it is what it is. Not really my genre of music but definitely captures what the late 60’s and early 70’s was all about.

Sep 04 2025

Wow. This was pretty good. This album was a lot more listenable than I was expecting.

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Sep 05 2025

Wow. I’ve never heard this album before. This is a strange mix of huge gigantic hits sparsely scattered between some real clunkers.

Sep 08 2025

I like a few of their songs but the rest of this particular album reminds me of the 80’s when we used to go to disco’s. Not sure as a kid I would spend the money to buy the CD.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Sep 09 2025

Not a bad album but not my favorite genre. I was looking for the hit on track 3 or 4 but it was a cover song.

Marquee Moon by Television
Sep 10 2025

Not a bad album but not my favorite genre. I recognized one of the songs and I probably would give this one another listen.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Sep 15 2025

Not a bad album. Brought back some childhood memories. No wonder people love Clapton. Top notch.

New York Dolls by New York Dolls
Sep 17 2025

Not sure where in their career this one was recorded but it was pretty good.

Clandestino by Manu Chao
Oct 20 2025

Not sure what was going on here.

Doolittle by Pixies
Oct 23 2025

Pixies at their best.

Pornography by The Cure
Oct 27 2025

Great album. Hands down.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Nov 03 2025

Wow. I used to live by Compton and Inglewood. Brought back many memories.

Parklife by Blur
Nov 04 2025

Some good songs that I recognize.

Tom Tom Club by Tom Tom Club
Nov 05 2025

Classic album. Has some real strong hits but also a few clunkers.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Nov 07 2025

Sounds like a broadway play soundtrack.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Nov 10 2025

Quite the experimental album but I guess that is what Bowie was all about.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Nov 11 2025

One of the best bands of that generation. They had a unique sound and style that made them recognizable and really easy to listen to.

Gris Gris by Dr. John
Nov 12 2025

Dr. John got lazy on this album. Not his best.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Nov 13 2025

A great Jazz album by a wonderful musician. Always worth a listen

Screamadelica by Primal Scream
Nov 14 2025

Did not disappoint. Very easy album to listen to. Looking forward to become familiar with the rest of their work.

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Nov 19 2025

Did not disappoint. Very easy album to listen to.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Nov 21 2025

Did not disappoint. Great album. This one definitely put Tom on the map.

The Score by Fugees
Nov 24 2025

Not a bad album just not my cup of tea.

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Nov 25 2025

Really good album. No wonder he had so many hits.

Infected by The The
Nov 26 2025

I like this band but this album was really hard to listen to.

School's Out by Alice Cooper
Nov 27 2025

Great album. Suprised by the fact only the one song was a huge hit.

Isn't Anything by My Bloody Valentine
Nov 28 2025

Not too familiar with this band but sort of recognized a few songs I may have heard while doing some research on the shoegaze craze. Would like to have seen them live.

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Dec 02 2025

Old school? No really really old school. Gershwin to the best of my knowledge was a huge movie and broadway composer. Not my cup o’ tea but gave me some early childhood black and white movie flashbacks.

Ys by Joanna Newsom
Dec 03 2025

Hard to find for me because I use Spotify most of the time. Album was good but then again not my type or music that I normally like to listen to.

Smash by The Offspring
Dec 04 2025

Haven’t heard this album in a while. It stands up to the test of time. They really had a sharp focus on the target audience.
