1001 Albums Summary

Muy básico. Every Step You Take es un clásico, pero el resto de las canciones no me fueron memorables ni muy interesantes musicalmente. Es un buen álbum de los 80, pero no definió ningún género.

Incredible start. Zero is a mix of the best of early 2000's rock. Heada will roll is the main single from this and it is very fun a catchy, but gets kinda samey at the middle. That's true for most songs in here, they follow the same pattern for most of the time. Runaway seems to stand out, being mostly piano-based. Hysteric is a pretty sweet song, love the voice in this one. The acoustic versions are nice, but the album as a whole can't scape that feeling of sameyness.

This is the worst of 80's world music. A good artist making a bad album.

I fully appreciate the intention behind this album, and I can tell how much effort was put behind it. However, it suffers from some of the worst cliches from the 80's. I guess for people that were around that time it must have been groundbreaking, but sadly I think it has stayed on its time.
