Popular Reviews

Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout

Wham last Christmas vibe

Just sort of bland, a few songs in the middle were more interesting but nothing major. Fav: heavy metal drummer

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Nov 02 2025

Fav: lust for Life, passenger least fav: sixteen

Low by David Bowie
Nov 03 2025

Fav: sound and vision Second part good for reading

My Generation by The Who
Nov 04 2025

Half of the album sounds like the Beatles, the other half - like Beatles with electric guitars.

On The Beach by Neil Young
Nov 08 2025

Nothing standing out much tbh

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Nov 12 2025

Good bass lines. Had a good time, high energy. Fav: killing in the name, take the power back, wake up

Rid Of Me by PJ Harvey
Nov 17 2025

It's not bad, I just don't enjoy PJ Harvey

OK Computer by Radiohead
Nov 18 2025

It's a classic, there are some songs in here that I really like, and karma police is the first real song that I am learning to play on my bass, but just personally it does not work that much as it does to other people. Still very good though

Fishscale by Ghostface Killah
Nov 19 2025

A lot of voices heard previously from gorillaz records, but have never listened to any of them on their own. I guess it's more than ok, but once again it is not the music Į seek out on my own. Runs a bit too long though, especially with all the skits

Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout
Nov 24 2025

Wham last Christmas vibe

Kid A by Radiohead
Nov 25 2025

Fav: optimistic, idioteque.

Rip It Up by Orange Juice
Nov 26 2025

Why is this post punk? The music was funky, I liked the other singer better than the main one. Fav: a million pleading faces

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Nov 29 2025

Surprisingly good listen as coming from someone who does not listen to this type of music. Instantly want to learn jamming on my bass

Heavy Weather by Weather Report
Nov 30 2025

Could not finish - just not for me

Dr. Octagonecologyst by Dr. Octagon
Dec 01 2025

The reviews here made it seem so much worse than it was. I think it is definitely way more memorable than other hip hop albums that I have listened here, a concept album about alien doctor and his unconventional treatment methods

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Dec 02 2025

Kind of ok

25 by Adele
Dec 03 2025

Pleasant to the ear, but nothing mind-blowing

Moving Pictures by Rush
Dec 04 2025

High energy, fun instruments, first half was better for me. Fav: yyz, limelight

The Age Of The Understatement by The Last Shadow Puppets
Dec 05 2025

Fun, older Arctic monkeys style. I always liked those older am basslines, and here we have basically the same sounds. Fav: my mistakes were made for you, calm like you

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Dec 06 2025

First time listening to the beach boys. My impression - Beatles at seargent pepper vibes. Pleasant to listen to. Fav: long promised road

Music by Madonna
Dec 12 2025

Nothing particularly special, some songs are a bit nostalgic from my childhood, but others have that distict 2000's feel.

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Dec 13 2025

A great listen, fun lyrics. Fav: a Rose for Emily, Time of the season

Elephant by The White Stripes
Dec 14 2025

Just as I've been thinking about wanting to listen to the white stripes. Probably my favorite from them, seven nation army is my all time favourite song.

London Calling by The Clash
Dec 16 2025

Such a gentle punk music. A bit long though.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Dec 17 2025

One of those that I know so well from my teenage years. Not the one I want to come back to consistently but fun to listen to

Skylarking by XTC
Dec 18 2025

What nice transitions, had fun and want to listen more of it

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Dec 20 2025

This is outrageous, this is contagious Sooo futile If this was not an inspiration for Jeremy from peep show, i don't know what was

Bad by Michael Jackson
Dec 23 2025

Some classics, other than that its ok

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Jan 03 2026

Another Neil Young in my list already. This one is a bit brighter than on the beach, but still generic sounding for me

Boston by Boston
Jan 04 2026

Classic rock - it was a fun listen. Fav: more than a feeling; rock & roll band

Red Dirt Girl by Emmylou Harris
Jan 05 2026

Not for me, bit bland and boring

Jan 07 2026

Just sort of bland, a few songs in the middle were more interesting but nothing major. Fav: heavy metal drummer

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Jan 08 2026

The cover reminds me of jay from the inbetweeners. Not much to say about the music though

Different Class by Pulp
Jan 09 2026

When I was a teenager, I though Jarvis was too horny. Now I kinda like it

Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth
Jan 11 2026

I have tried to listen to Sonic youth before. Did not work then, did not really work now. I understand the relevancy, it's just not for my ears personally.

Superfuzz Bigmuff by Mudhoney
Jan 12 2026

Listening to grunge while i make my homemade granola

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson
Jan 13 2026

This is the country music i could get behind. However, it seems like there are a few fully mapped out songs and others are just deconstructions of the same lines or sounds

Jan 17 2026

Solid songs, nothing mind-blowing for me though

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Jan 18 2026

Was he trying to sound like oasis or it just happened?

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Jan 26 2026

Teenage me would have loved this

Feb 14 2026

Fun, fast passed, but a bit forgetable.

Sulk by The Associates
Feb 16 2026

Uch, not for me. Chaotic, loud and dramatic.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Feb 17 2026

They are shouting, but in a good way

Dare! by The Human League
Feb 18 2026

Fun, synth heavy but a lot of songs go on a bit too long.

Feast of Wire by Calexico
Feb 21 2026

Albums that surprise me in a good way are worth 5 stars

Infected by The The
Feb 22 2026

This was great

I’m a Lonesome Fugitive by Merle Haggard
Jun 12 2026

Country music is so funny - happy music while lyrics go "oh its better that i die now" or "someone wrote a song about you cheated on me" or "my girlfriend wants to settle down but i love gambling"

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Jun 13 2026

Not my usual music but from time to time I get the want to listen to Amy.

Future Days by Can
Jun 14 2026

Some guys just came to jam and someone recorded it
