Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes

Blister in the sun - bangin' Kiss Off - Bass line sounds similar to blister in the sun, hope this doesn't become a pattern otherwise its fine, picks up in the middle, with the one one then numbers exceterersia Please Do Not Go - Thought the singing was a bit grating at first but it started to grow on my, very slightly still sounded a bit off at times Add It up - bangin' Confessions - nothing wrong with it Prove my love - vocals were happier than the rest, at least sounded happier not sure about the lyrics as the lkyrics are usually pretty fucked for violent femmes, fine Promise - fine, noticing the instruments play very well together and seem to work with one another in this album To The Kill - fine, instrumental breakdown sect is lackluster, along with the rest of the song, given how good the other songs were Gone Daddy Gone - Not sure about the xylobone in the middle of it, ruins the song for me as the rest of the instruments work better with one another Good feeling - Fine, slow, acceptable Im not reviewing the rough trade ones Overall this is a favourite in the Robinson house hold so I am giving a very biased 5/5 as I grew up with this album otherwise this album would've landed at a 4/5

Abraxas by Santana
Dec 08 2025

Just like the album, this albums music and guitar lead is really quite good, alternative percussion is a welcome change, little singing completely good. Feels like some sort of persona beat y'know. When the singing exist its fine, as I don't need to listen to it for long. First and last song were stinkers so following the one party system ( one bad song tolerated for a five) its a four

Live At Leeds by The Who
Dec 09 2025

Sounds samey, wouldn't mind listening to this, not that much though don't complement yourself

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Dec 10 2025

Christ talk about pretentious, two 20 minute songs, fan of the drum in the first song but oh my god it is just the same shit with a trumpet taped on when Davis feels like it

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Dec 11 2025

I really like some of the songs in this ablum and think the rest is meh to below average, I think this album excelled where the songs were more energetic which wasn't enough for a four

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Dec 12 2025

Instruments are great, wish they got a bit more show and centre stage otherwise nothing wrong with it

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Dec 15 2025

Cherub rock - This has already given me high hopes for the rest of this album, beatiful guitar, could do with drums being cooler just saying pumpkin smashers. Singing is turning me off a little went from throbbing hard to regret Quiet - 2nd song with some guitar then leading into some random lyrics Today - ITS THE TIKTOK SONG OMGM AJOASCNJKKJNKJN No this song is popular for a reason sounds cool Hummer - 7 minutes was excessive but the drum kit building it up was a pleasant surprise Rocket- Each of these songs sound samey... I probably couldn't on first listen distinguish between some of these songs not that that is always a problem but then you could pull a fat rat and make unity 20 fucking times Disarm - Some knobhead singing with an acoustic guitar, the guy around the campfire no one invited to the party, this song remined me of the scenario of being serenaded by some wanker at a party who really thinks hes the shit when he really isn't is this an orchestra of a rock band make a goddamnable choice Soma - Good buildup, was initially disappointed but the drums came in for a 1 hp clutch GEEK USA - Holy what a start bloody explosive and whatnot don't fumble it, singings almost dropping the ball if Im being honest. Very same thing but if it ain't broke don't fix it. Nevermind it became rather quiet. Oh that fucking solo jesus christ cover me in butter, hammer me to the nail and spank me until my entire body is red - that means I quite like this song Mayonaise - guitar lead sounds yknow banawow bnghwho I am a fan, not crucifiction BDSM bullshit level though, solos calmer, although ear splitting whatever tone they found its splitting in a good way Spaceboy - Dickhead with his acoustic guitar, kmon have some crazy eletric guitar entering halfway through. I can accept that is is a fine song, bit slow for my liking Silverfuck - nauseating keep it coming. Kind thrashy names a bit edgy, not that I care I listen to Viagra boys Sweet Sweet - I want to feel happy not sad . . . NEXT Luna - This is how you do a slow song, heavy drum influnce, little blimming acoustic guitar Overall - I may have found a new favourite band for me, I will definitely be checking out the rest of the smashing pumpkins debating a 4 or 5 honestly for this but hey you only live once so I'm leaning on the 5. Its nauseating and fucking amazing, like being just before shitfaced, pleasantly unpleasant distortion

Risque by CHIC
Dec 16 2025

Funk, hey feels like commercial music but for like really good yogurt, I'm not complaining. Jazz drums always are good, bossanova better be real. This is cool nothing bad, all good, could possibly have this on if I'm feeling jolly

Live / Dead by Grateful Dead
Dec 17 2025

My opinion is immediately low due to the 23 minutes song. The other song sounds good, The Eleven caught my good ire crimson king y'know. 1 good song covered in 6 tons of crap

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
Dec 18 2025

Ouh ouh ouh, rather listenablé oui oui baguette viva la revelucion

Dec 19 2025

There is a reason this album is very popular, my one complaint is that sometimes the synth electronical soundboard can become rather grating on the ears, especially if it is not the focus of the song otherwise all other aspects are very good, acceptable, more than even

Purple Rain by Prince
Dec 22 2025

It was fine, what else do you want me to say? I was brought to tears? I wasn't

LP1 by FKA twigs
Dec 23 2025

Someone made the conscious choice to publish this album and 110 million inbred kentukians seemed to listen to it, If you have faith that the human race is on the up, this album will starkly show you otherwise

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Dec 24 2025

Tolerable and old, I pay it no mind, you probably shouldn't either

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Dec 26 2025

Scarborough Fair - Peacful, more merciful as it really isn't focusing on only the vocals, harmonic singing works well with the strings Patterns - Holy intro, alternative percussion works really well the singing is amazing, which I think will become a pattern for these songs, I can't think too highly though, 1/2 of them is called bloody Garfunkel Cloudy - fine, exquisite use of ragamuffin, It truly is falling out of use in the modern era Homeward Bound - Not sure why this one is so popular, it just sounds plain fine The Big Bright Green func - Just not it, only stinker in this album so far and then again the smell isn't Toooo bad Thew 59th - Nice and peacful I sure was feeling groovy The Dangling Conversation - Acceptable Flowers never Bend with the Rainfall - Quite fond of this, possibly my favourite so far A Simple Desultory Philippic - Nevermind this is my favourite so far, it sounds very much unlike the rest of the album dunno kinda viagra boys y'know For Emily, Whenever I May FInd Her - can't say I have any interest in finding Emily A Poem on the Underground Wall - probably should specify the wal next time but its fine Silent night - Good rendition of this angelic angel shimbaloo

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Dec 30 2025

September In The rain - Long boring ass start (given its live i can look past it)(just about) Vocals are very good but the instrumentals are a bit tame and somewhat dull. Willow weep for me - Again a nice song with the same flaws as previous I am also concerned with the economic climate of the collapse of taiwan, see that bullshit was much more interesting than this song. Just one of those things - bit more upbeat than the previous, I appreciate hwo the instruments are more hearable, Thank you for listening to my critisism mr Sarash vaughan Be Anything But Darling Be Mine - Could very easliy be confused With the first two songs, if you were to merge one song and link it into the other I doubt anyone other than a fanatic would really notice the difference. Thou Swell - More involved instrument which I am a fan of Stairway To The Stars - I will not be repeating previous notes How high the Moon - Definitely my favourite of the bunch, upbeat and interesting. Overall this album is listenable as background noise, maybe in a bar but any other ways to listen to it would be utterly mundane, 2/5

Gold by Ryan Adams
Dec 31 2025

It feels like this album is trying really hard to be something where it ultimately shouldn't have ever been, this isn't abhorrent but utterly boring, nothing to latch onto not even mediocrity

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Jan 01 2026

Tell me why - it's fine nothing special and the guys singing is kinda annoying me After the Gold Rush - Thought this was an intro to the fairy tale of new york, I was dissapointed to hear this mans voice again, I hope this is the last time he shows up Only Love can break your heart - And your eardrums, this is like listening to some crap jazz but the main intrument stays the same and the singer said a racial slur before every sentence, not even entertaining at that point just sad Southern Man - Significant improvement get rid of that goddamn acoustic guitar, put it into the shredder and use it as kindling it makes a more interesting noise than whatever those previous songs were. WE LOVE THE KEYBOARD ( and the eletric guitar ) Till the morning comes - PLEASE DO NOT HAVE THAT GODDAMN ACOUSTIC GUITAR, the trumpet is there :bless: , listenable, tolerable Oh, Lonesome Me - I thought the guitar was shredded mr Young, why has it come back as a main stay? Bloody dickhead make your singing so I can listen to it and not regret my birth or add an instrument and become rock again please? Don't Let It bring you down - It really is bringing me down Birds - I flew away from this damnable song have more instruments for the love of god When You Dance I Can Really Love - You answered my prayers Mr Young this is not half bad I Believe in you - I retract any compliments Cripple Creek Ferry - I'm dissapointed in you Overal this ablum would've been better if he stuck to his blimming singing guitar justin beiber pretty boy act or kept the Rock inspired instruments which his voice fits much much better. The shit balances out with the cool so a solid and unmoving low 3

Tellin’ Stories by The Charlatans
Jan 02 2026

just sounds mildly irritating, like a mosquito I don't want it and it sounds the same almost always

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Jan 05 2026

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jan 06 2026

Talk about back to back bangers my god, I cant say I dream of californication though, things look a little rough in America if I'm being honest

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Jan 07 2026

Cool ass album cover - Did slightly disappoint but still gives some brownie points, only one song reeally caught my eye, ear thing that was Student Demonstration Time otherwise I can accept that this style of music is just not for me 3.5/5 Ill flip a coin to see If I round up or down as a 4 seems too geneorus and a 3 seems too harsh.

Jan 08 2026

I don’t appreciate him howling at me in the Scientist, not very good scientific method. Overall review is some dickhead with an acoustic guitar part 2 electric boogaloo. This album is like the second holocaust if you ignore the ones happening/happened in Bosnia, Cambodia, Iraq, Sudan, Burma, China, Israel etc.. The only reason this isn’t a 1 is because there is at least drums which provide some sort of solicitation from this ear splitting album. This may also be in part due to trauma from the Christmas Concert

Jan 09 2026

Slow, and the guys singing is just not it and he seems to like making moans and grunts at me, Id only like that if it was anyone else or maybe initials R and H and K and L I like that xxx.

With The Beatles by Beatles
Jan 11 2026

I get that the mixing is bad, but the mixing is bad its rather frustrating make the indtruments go through both ears not just the left Mr John Lenon if youre hearing this, please be better

Illmatic by Nas
Jan 12 2026

Not it, not horrific just not it

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Jan 13 2026

Palatable, cool seeing the bluesy roots of some more rocky things, don’t really know why the Indian was bleeding out on the road but no matter, this was a bit better than fine

Odelay by Beck
Jan 14 2026

Sounds cool so far! Some of the songs sound great then they have to add some bollocks over it. Nice variety in types of songs it seems. Deredict is not it some rap elements \i'm enjoying it, very uhh experimental lost a point for that if it continues, why do they end every song with some random bullshit. Its pretty entertaining though. Groovy in all I am appreciative of it, ending was nice. This album really frustrated me, I really enjoyed the the instrumentals then the 'additions' came in, It really would've been a five if this geezer didn't include an audible insight into the ghettos of new york.

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Jan 15 2026

Did not help with maths revision, not that I care it was fine

Bad by Michael Jackson
Jan 17 2026

Its filled with classics, are they objectively good music probably not. do I like some of the songs because its been drilled into my head since a young age? yes.Do I dislike the others because they're crap? yes.Shame he died, Sorry Jackie shouldn't have taken that propofol.

Kid A by Radiohead
Jan 18 2026

I think Mr Radio head should play some peggle, then this album won't be so sad

Medúlla by Björk
Jan 19 2026

I dont get why its all mine, show dont tell but cmon. What is this why is there sound lab incredibox bollocks in my ears now. What is this trying to be? A biblically accurate clusterfuck?!? Ive seen terrorist attatcks which are less gorey than this gathering of toddlers mashing buttons. Can we get an actual DJ on please? please

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Jan 21 2026

Pretty cool, Elton John is one of the best gay people of all time. Maybe if he wasn't advocating for gay rights this would be a better album

Kala by M.I.A.
Jan 22 2026

I enjoyed thsi more than I thought, that being said the enjoyment wasnt particularily high

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Jan 24 2026

The guitar is very good, I think this is pretty cool not necessarily exceptional, I’m assuming this is because it was recorded live. The Instrumentals are great, does get a little boring as it goes on, all a very very similar vibe. Didn't know the boys are back in town was from this artist, pretty cool. Acceptable, 7/10 I would listen to 1 or two of these songs willingily and the rest would be fine unwillingly

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Jan 25 2026

mmmm fallout song, beyond that nothing offensive just not my style

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Jan 26 2026

Cool stuff, no wonder it has a jojo Stand commemorating it. I Do think the Live at Kinda detracts from these albums as I don’t wanna hear the hooting and hollering of the probably very dead crowd. Quite a big fan of big eyes, couldn't tell you why but I think its pretty cool. I have no clue why "I want you to want me" Is the most popular, its just not particularly interesting.

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Jan 27 2026

Started off with pots and pans and I cant say its getting any better. It really sounds like an eleven year old just heard about what sex is and say no to drugs and recorded this over a garage band preset.

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Jan 28 2026

Some of it was cool, the other parts were crap, I thought better of you mr Hendrix

Foxbase Alpha by Saint Etienne
Jan 29 2026

Not promising to begin with... I dunno it doesn't really feel like Im listening to anything its either unpleasant or just mundane so on average its not average

Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow
Jan 30 2026

Very generic, I feel as if clubs would be better of playing EDM music on a Tuesday night, slightly larger audience yknow. All I wanna do is the only one I would ever consider listenting to again willingly.

Heroes by David Bowie
Jan 31 2026

First vibes is this man look like a skin walker, not that is affects Music making. Pretty cool initially then okay then it picks up again. Completely Acceptable a couple songs like Blackout I'd listen to again.

American Beauty by Grateful Dead
Feb 01 2026

nothing offensive, the singer annoys me a tad, but beyond that its fine

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
Feb 02 2026

Started off with annoying vocals and. I'm not even going to finish that thought this album really annoys me, the instrumentals are incredibly promising then theres some throat cancer ridden invalid screaming complete bullshit over it. For disappointing me I cannot forgive...

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Feb 03 2026

Nothing offensive, just mundane. It had the same effect as counting sheep, I got bored and fell asleep.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Feb 04 2026

Pretty cool, not much else to say, a lack of rainbows perhaps?

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Feb 06 2026

First Song is banging, second song is a little too much ban nan a y'know overwise good. Songs are really bloody good, very rock punky losery. The type of music you could rob someone to

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Feb 18 2026

Sorry Mikey, not really a fan of this, and why arent you pale yeat, stay on brand white boy tut tut tut.

Pornography by The Cure
Mar 05 2026

Chart Performance for Pornography sure was an interesting wikipedia subtext. Also something about killing an arab, Netanyahus already on that mr the cure dont worry. The Instruments sound really cool, the british man however, does not.

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Mar 14 2026

I knew of Nine Ninch Nails for their lyrics, this album sure did not dissapoint I enjoyed it alot, There were not Nine nails however.
