Incredible listen. One I won't continuously come back to but I would absolutely play this all the way through again in the future.

It's funny, for some reason in my head I always validated this album as iconic. Turns out... I don't really feel that way after listening twice yesterday lol. Although I no longer want to deem it "iconic" I think it's extremely fair to say this is a perfect album for those who haven't ventured into punk rock and need something to scratch the surface for the genre. Not a whole lot of depth to the album overall but I don't think that was the goal by any stretch - it's basically 30 minutes of unadulterated fun... and sometimes that's all you need for a solid listen! 2.5/5

I quite literally felt like I was living in 2004 during the listen - pure nostalgia. Loved it. 3.5

Round And Round was so annoying that I refuse to give this album anything above a 1. Sweet Emotion is overrated. Walk This Way is also overrated, and it sucks. This album will never be played again.

Sinister? Sure. Spooky? I guess. Boring? Absolutely.

The fuck was this

I know this album may be overshadowed by Remain in Light... I just can't help but to find more appeal in Fear of Music. This album captivates what an "irresistible listen" is for me - it's a 5 if not for Electric Guitar. Fantastic album. 4.5

I've never been able to listen to the Beastie Boys without feeling slightly annoyed and that is still the case in 2026.

Oh my god, was the motive behind the back half of this album to make the listeners ears bleed?

The definition of average. Honaloochie Boogie was the one standout for me, everything else was fine - nothing great, nothing bad. Feels like an album I'd throw on to do dishes or something like that

Kerosene was pretty cool but overall this is not for me

This album didn't really go anywhere for me which is surprising because The Who have a couple albums I can listen front to back. This one just didn't scratch any sort of itch, a few catchy rhythms but nothing memorable for me.
