Cross by Justice

This album is way too long to be the same electronic instrumental shit. It wouldn’t be that bad but once again it’s just too long for the kind of music it is. Favorite song: D.A.N.C.E. Second favorite: Valentine

It was nice had some good songs on it

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Jan 25 2026

Best way to describe these songs are long. Every song has about a minute of just the beat after the last line. They aren’t bad

Infected by The The
Jan 26 2026

It was okay like someone else said it just wasn’t good. For me it wasn’t bad but nothing stood out. Overall it’s just mid

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Jan 27 2026

“Cinnamon Girl” is the first song and it set up the album nicely for me. It’s an overall nice song to listen to. The first three songs I enjoyed. The song “Down by the river” is great but is a long song. It contains long bits of just the instruments though I like the beat it’s just not worth it same with “Cowgirl in the sand” although I like it a little bit more. I like the vibe of the album. I enjoyed the song “The Losing End”. Also the song “Running Dry” has this melancholic sound not only that but it’s heavy on the violin.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jan 28 2026

Feb 03 2026

An album just full of covers. She has good vocals.

xx by The xx
Feb 04 2026

First song has no lyrics it’s just straight instrumental which wouldn’t be bad if it didn’t remind me of Smurf Cat. The only songs I like is Basic Space, Night Time, and maybe Stars. Vocals aren’t very appealing to me; they’re okay.

Autobahn by Kraftwerk
Feb 05 2026

Dookie by Green Day
Feb 22 2026

4.5 I loved all the songs except She but other than that good stuff

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Feb 24 2026

It’s definitely dad rock. The instrumental parts are really nice.

Murmur by R.E.M.
Feb 25 2026

I enjoyed the guitar. It’s a nice album that’s catchy. Great for something alternative that’s coming out of the 80s way ahead of its time. This album can get repetitive but still a decent listen.

If You're Feeling Sinister by Belle & Sebastian
Feb 26 2026

This album was a chore to listen to. I hate his voice. The music is bland and boring. It’s incredibly hard to get through the beginning of the songs. The songs get better later into them once the pace picks up, but still mediocre at best.

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Feb 27 2026

During the first bit of the album I didn’t like it at all, but as it continued it definitely got a lot better. I don’t think these songs are the greatest. She has decent vocals. Favorite: Leather Second favorite: Happy Phantom

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Feb 28 2026

It’s a classic rock album. It’s also exactly what you’d expect from AC/DC. Although after listening to this album all the songs started to song similar. Favorite song: Beating Around the Bush

Cross by Justice
Mar 01 2026

This album is way too long to be the same electronic instrumental shit. It wouldn’t be that bad but once again it’s just too long for the kind of music it is. Favorite song: D.A.N.C.E. Second favorite: Valentine

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Mar 02 2026

It’s a hour on piano improvisation so that’s cool. Maybe I’m not classy enough to totally get this album but to me it’s just another full piano album. After a bit it’s hard to focus on it and it ends up as background music.

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Mar 03 2026

It’s good just not great. I know most of these songs are probably classics but it didn’t click. Led Zeppelin is a pretty good artist too so I would have thought I would liked this more. Once again not the best not the worst.

Metal Box by Public Image Ltd.
Mar 04 2026

Definitely experimental. The vocals aren’t good. First song is extremely long. The beats of the songs aren’t bad at all some of them are pretty good. Favorite song: Memories Second favorite: Socialist

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Mar 05 2026

As soon as I listen to the first song I liked it. It wasn’t exciting, but it’s chill. It’s a nice break from all the rock albums I’ve been getting. This album is something to play if you need to relax or own a bookstore.

Groovin' by The Young Rascals
Mar 06 2026

There’s nothing terribly wrong in this album. Most of the songs are one of these: I’m in love with you, I’m not in love anymore, and I’ve found someone. Nothing is necessary wrong with any of that, but the songs just lack in general.

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Mar 07 2026

It’s good. I don’t think I’ve listen to much African rock if any and this is a nice album to introduce the style. Although I can’t understand what they are saying I don’t mind it at all. If the music is good the music is good.

Black Monk Time by The Monks
Mar 08 2026

I think it was great for its time but now there’s just so much better. Some of the music I enjoyed and it definitely gets points for revolutionary for its time. I had to search a little bit to find where to listen to the album. Favorite song: We Do Wie Du

Cypress Hill by Cypress Hill
Mar 09 2026

By the lyrics to some of the songs they do not like the police and who can blame them? This album is something unique not in a bad way. Said the F slur which definitely plays a role in how I rate it, but otherwise the stuff like that it’s decent. Favorite song: How Could I Just Kill a Man

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Mar 10 2026

Pink Floyd is always a nice treats. Is this album a little overhyped? Maybe, but it’s still nicely done. The intro song is quite long, so is the closing song. Favorite song: Wish You Were Here

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Mar 11 2026

I definitely recognize more than I thought I would. The music is nice it’s fun to listen to. This album is so influential. If you don’t think you’ve heard I bet you have at least once. Favorite song: Behave Yourself

Mermaid Avenue by Billy Bragg
Mar 12 2026

When I started this album I thought it was quite good, but the more I listened the more it just seemed ordinary. I don’t have much to say for this album it isn’t a bad folk album at all. Favorite song: California Stars

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Mar 13 2026

I was excited when I saw I got recommended an album by Prince, and definitely expected more than normal. Is this a bad album? Not at all. Does this album sound like it’s from the 80s? Yes. This album is pretty consistent, and doesn’t switch up constantly. Favorite song: The Cross

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Mar 14 2026

She has an incredibly recognizable voice. She totally paved the way for tons of artists. This album has this dreamy feeling that I really enjoyed.

In Our Heads by Hot Chip
Mar 15 2026

I was kinda surprised I liked this. It’s got this electronic beat. The singers voice is….okay? It could use some work, but not bad. The album itself is this Synth pop album. Not bad.

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Mar 17 2026

Not exactly my type of music. I feel like this is stereotypical jock music from those older movies. This album is just odd.

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Mar 18 2026

The album sounded like something experimental, which to be clear isn’t bad. The first song in the album it sounded lad if it belong in a horror film. Overall this was pretty fun to listen to. Favorite song: Jigsaw Feeling

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Mar 20 2026

It was good a lot better than what I was expecting, but way too long. Why on Earth would this album be a hour and 16 minutes. A HOUR AND 16 MINUTES HOLY SHIT WHY WAS IT THAT LONG??? IT SURELY WASN’T THAT GOOD TO BE THAT LONG? The guy is racist. Won’t listen ever again.

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Mar 21 2026

This is really nice music. It’s this psychedelic kind of music that if you were high I bet it would be even more awesome. The guitar is amazing. I will definitely listen to this again, and stuff of his other stuff.

The Idiot by Iggy Pop
Mar 22 2026

I don’t like his voice very much, but I can admit that this album is pretty good. I can definitely heard Bowie’s influence of this album, which is great. Worth checking out!

Mar 23 2026

It’s unique, but not very good. It’s like they randomized each song’s parts. No vocals, which is probably for the better. I understand what they were meaning to do with this album, but it didn’t work out.

Raw Power by The Stooges
Mar 24 2026

Each song has this raw feeling. It’s definitely a good rock/punk album. His rough voice makes a nice addition to the album. The album is also very loud. The name fits the album. Favorite song: Search and Destroy

Pieces Of The Sky by Emmylou Harris
Mar 25 2026

I have never been a fan of country music, but this is tolerable. She didn’t write a lot of these songs.

Tommy by The Who
Mar 26 2026

This isn’t good. This album is so bland, and was annoying to listen to. I don’t even know why this has an average of three. Overrated rock album.

LP1 by FKA twigs
Mar 27 2026

It’s electronic and has many layers. It’s definitely a nice experimental album. The vocal are pretty nice. The album itself is unique and ethereal. Favorite song: Lights on

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Mar 28 2026

Incredible stuff. I love some Pink Floyd. Other Floyd albums are totally better than this one, but it’s still nice. I didn’t like the length of the album still I’m glad I listened to it all. Favorite song: The Trial

The Dreaming by Kate Bush
Mar 29 2026

I was very skeptical of the album when I listened the first song. As I listened to the album more it started to sound better. The album is totally theatrical and original. Favorite song: Leave It Open

Mar 30 2026

Absolutely loved this album. Sam Cooke has an incredible voice. I don’t know how I didn’t hear him sooner. I wish I saw him live. He definitely deserves to be on 1001. Favorite song: Chain Gang

Mar 31 2026

He has a great voice, and the storytelling was really good. His voice is quite clear. The only song I knew for the album before starting it was Big Iron. This album has this Wild West cowboy energy if you couldn’t tell by the albums photo. It just needs some rasp to make it sound more appealing. Favorite song: El Paso

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Apr 01 2026

No reason for this album to be on this list.

Sheet Music by 10cc
Apr 02 2026

Pretty good listen. Nothing terrible about this album. It’s a strange all over the place album. The lyrics are odd too. Overall it’s bearable. Favorite song: The Wall Street Shuffle

Apr 03 2026

Not necessarily anything I’ll remember. The acoustics are pretty good. The lyrics are alright. The album just doesn’t do anything to me.

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Apr 04 2026

It’s not anything to make a big deal about. It’s good, but it’s not good good. The second half carried that first. The album is just kinda boring, and shallow. Favorite song: Mrs. Robinson

Horses by Patti Smith
Apr 05 2026

3.5 rounded to 4. I understand the context for this album, but I just can’t really like the music. The album isn’t bad it just isn’t amazing to me. I enjoy hearing her voice, so that’s always a bonus. The album itself is defiant. Favorite song: Gloria: In Excelsis Deo

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Apr 06 2026

It’s a nice psychedelic blues album. Key word is blues very heavy blues in this album. They do some interesting things with the vocals. Overall solid blues rock. Favorite song: L.A. Woman

Apr 07 2026

I mean it’s David Bowie
