Kinda the same song but different lyrics not bad
Great messages in the songs, great music, great lyrics
Really loved this will be listening again
It was nice had some good songs on it
Best way to describe these songs are long. Every song has about a minute of just the beat after the last line. They aren’t bad
It was okay like someone else said it just wasn’t good. For me it wasn’t bad but nothing stood out. Overall it’s just mid
“Cinnamon Girl” is the first song and it set up the album nicely for me. It’s an overall nice song to listen to. The first three songs I enjoyed.
The song “Down by the river” is great but is a long song. It contains long bits of just the instruments though I like the beat it’s just not worth it same with “Cowgirl in the sand” although I like it a little bit more. I like the vibe of the album. I enjoyed the song “The Losing End”. Also the song “Running Dry” has this melancholic sound not only that but it’s heavy on the violin.
Really talented people who I first got introduced to by my dad. Few things that really stand out is the guitar and the great vocals.
It’s good just not my thing
The women in the album had nice vocals and the beat were good, but other than that other special
Good for music that my dad likes
“Is this album good?” Yes yes yes yes yes
An album just full of covers. She has good vocals.
First song has no lyrics it’s just straight instrumental which wouldn’t be bad if it didn’t remind me of Smurf Cat. The only songs I like is Basic Space, Night Time, and maybe Stars. Vocals aren’t very appealing to me; they’re okay.
It’s Billy Joel I don’t know what to tell you
I would give this a 3.5 just for the classics it has one it.
I really liked this it’s just something about the vocals
I just can’t with this album it’s not terrible
The first songs I didn’t not like but as it went on I kinda adapted to the style I guess
I really enjoyed the style of the album
It’s pretty good but I got sick of it towards the end of the album
and now I know how Joan of arc felt
3.5 Isn’t the best but I enjoyed once again I enjoyed the style of the album
Dramatic and not in the good way
3.5 I actually kinda liked it
I enjoy this I feel like parts of this album would come from the 90s
It’s the Rolling Stones so not much to say
4.5 I loved all the songs except She but other than that good stuff
I loved his vocals this album definitely sounds like it is from the 60s but in the best way possible
It’s definitely dad rock. The instrumental parts are really nice.
I enjoyed the guitar. It’s a nice album that’s catchy. Great for something alternative that’s coming out of the 80s way ahead of its time. This album can get repetitive but still a decent listen.
This album was a chore to listen to. I hate his voice. The music is bland and boring. It’s incredibly hard to get through the beginning of the songs. The songs get better later into them once the pace picks up, but still mediocre at best.
During the first bit of the album I didn’t like it at all, but as it continued it definitely got a lot better. I don’t think these songs are the greatest. She has decent vocals. Favorite: Leather Second favorite: Happy Phantom
It’s a classic rock album. It’s also exactly what you’d expect from AC/DC. Although after listening to this album all the songs started to song similar. Favorite song: Beating Around the Bush
This album is way too long to be the same electronic instrumental shit. It wouldn’t be that bad but once again it’s just too long for the kind of music it is. Favorite song: D.A.N.C.E. Second favorite: Valentine
It’s a hour on piano improvisation so that’s cool. Maybe I’m not classy enough to totally get this album but to me it’s just another full piano album. After a bit it’s hard to focus on it and it ends up as background music.
It’s good just not great. I know most of these songs are probably classics but it didn’t click. Led Zeppelin is a pretty good artist too so I would have thought I would liked this more. Once again not the best not the worst.
Definitely experimental. The vocals aren’t good. First song is extremely long. The beats of the songs aren’t bad at all some of them are pretty good.
Favorite song: Memories Second favorite: Socialist
As soon as I listen to the first song I liked it. It wasn’t exciting, but it’s chill. It’s a nice break from all the rock albums I’ve been getting. This album is something to play if you need to relax or own a bookstore.
There’s nothing terribly wrong in this album. Most of the songs are one of these: I’m in love with you, I’m not in love anymore, and I’ve found someone. Nothing is necessary wrong with any of that, but the songs just lack in general.
It’s good. I don’t think I’ve listen to much African rock if any and this is a nice album to introduce the style. Although I can’t understand what they are saying I don’t mind it at all. If the music is good the music is good.
I think it was great for its time but now there’s just so much better. Some of the music I enjoyed and it definitely gets points for revolutionary for its time. I had to search a little bit to find where to listen to the album. Favorite song: We Do Wie Du
By the lyrics to some of the songs they do not like the police and who can blame them? This album is something unique not in a bad way. Said the F slur which definitely plays a role in how I rate it, but otherwise the stuff like that it’s decent. Favorite song: How Could I Just Kill a Man
Pink Floyd is always a nice treats. Is this album a little overhyped? Maybe, but it’s still nicely done. The intro song is quite long, so is the closing song. Favorite song: Wish You Were Here
I definitely recognize more than I thought I would. The music is nice it’s fun to listen to. This album is so influential. If you don’t think you’ve heard I bet you have at least once. Favorite song: Behave Yourself
When I started this album I thought it was quite good, but the more I listened the more it just seemed ordinary. I don’t have much to say for this album it isn’t a bad folk album at all. Favorite song: California Stars
I was excited when I saw I got recommended an album by Prince, and definitely expected more than normal. Is this a bad album? Not at all. Does this album sound like it’s from the 80s? Yes. This album is pretty consistent, and doesn’t switch up constantly. Favorite song: The Cross
She has an incredibly recognizable voice. She totally paved the way for tons of artists. This album has this dreamy feeling that I really enjoyed.
I was kinda surprised I liked this. It’s got this electronic beat. The singers voice is….okay? It could use some work, but not bad. The album itself is this Synth pop album. Not bad.
It was alright. The album just gives off sex.
