Mask by Bauhaus

Might as well listen to Sprockets. Fine I guess, but not GOOD.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Feb 02 2026

Boogie on reggae woman was one of my favorite songs in high school, though I didn’t know what it was called or what Stevie was saying. Still slaps.

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Feb 05 2026

This was nice, but truthfully I had no idea when the album ended and other “similar songs” started playing. This was nice to make dinner to, but nothing really snagged me like “gotta hear that banger again!” And then all of a sudden I look and it’s old Simon and Garfunkel again instead of the boys who beach. Three stars.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Feb 06 2026

Impressive variety of sounds- they definitely want to sound like a Springsteen/dylan combo. No bangers but a fine listen. Sounds like something Julia would like. I get the feeling they’d let just about anyone play harmonica in this group.

Rio by Duran Duran
Feb 09 2026

Two bangers or so, I do like this.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Feb 13 2026
Hot Fuss by The Killers
Feb 23 2026

Thought I didn’t like these guys. Turns out… I DO! Real top heavy album though- 4 bangers. A star for each, why not.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Feb 24 2026

MAYBE in a summer truck, otherwise my take is “yuck”

Dookie by Green Day
Mar 02 2026

I wanna say three bangers, solid listen over here

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Mar 03 2026

I love the SONG highway to hell/ACDC in general… as an album I just am taken back to cutting weight for wrestling in high school.

Mar 04 2026

Ugh, the music of these songs is in my bones but the lyrics are obviously not great now. Could also do without the “Skits”. The musicianship and variety of rap styles is really impressive, and the offensive stuff I guess is a weird dark mirror of the time and how prevalent it was, but I was cringing.

Rapture by Anita Baker
Mar 05 2026

Like, it’s fine or whatever, but not one banger. I wouldn’t know this album if I heard it again. It’s not BAD. Just… not banging with so much music in the world.

The Modern Dance by Pere Ubu
Mar 13 2026

The first song on this album was such an F U to my ears. What a prick- absolutely HATE that noise nonsense. Didn’t give the rest a listen because it’s clear this is a guy who is trying to hurt peoples’ ears, music should sound GOOD.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Mar 26 2026

Is the WHOLE album worth a five? Maybe not, but blue sky and turn to stone are enough, and I LIKE all the tunes fine

Mask by Bauhaus
Mar 27 2026

Might as well listen to Sprockets. Fine I guess, but not GOOD.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Apr 20 2026

I didn’t realize I love Cream- even though White Room was King of Hearts entrance song

Metallica by Metallica
May 05 2026

This was my high school lifting album after I quit wrestling

Imagine by John Lennon
May 15 2026

Jealous Guy is one of the greatest songs of all time

1989 by Taylor Swift
May 20 2026

So many bangers… who knew I was a swifty

Survivor by Destiny's Child
May 22 2026
The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
May 29 2026

Liked it!

The Clash by The Clash
Jun 02 2026

I liked this more than I thought I would, made me hate bands I’ve heard that are clearly copying their sound though

Felt Mountain by Goldfrapp
Jun 03 2026

I only knew strict machine from their other album- loved this, especially “Utopia”

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jun 09 2026

This was very disappointing- I love labyrinth and doggy stardust and this fell flat. No hate and probably should be a three, but the let down of not one new song that moved me gives her a two. Not sir bowie’s best

Only By The Night by Kings of Leon
Jun 10 2026

Had a moment of nostalgia, then was like “oh, what I remember is not really liking this.” Was too embarrassed to play out loud in the park with Nico.

Time Out Of Mind by Bob Dylan
Jun 11 2026

I loved this waaaaaay more than I thought I would- good day time listening with Nico (weather also was perfect which helps)

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Jun 12 2026

I didn’t really listen but it was fine

Be by Common
Jun 15 2026

ALMOST a five- used to listen to this a lot; incredible opening set of songs and a super cool sound

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jun 16 2026

This was nice.

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Jun 23 2026

Not the great album I listened to with Sandman etc in high school

Dear Science by TV On The Radio
Jun 26 2026

I liked this, one song was like a much better version of Coldplay

GI by Germs
Jul 02 2026

No.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jul 08 2026

Sick guitar, great listen

Horses by Patti Smith
Jul 09 2026

Did not like this. It made me think of the sister in “Friends and Neighbors”
