When an instrument hits the nasty notes, I get SO invested in it.

First three songs were good, then the rest was average at best.

Absolutely amazing listen from Pixies. Can not believe it took me this much to listen to this album.

Happy I listened to this with an open mind because it was a genuine surprise to hear such nice harmonies.

If you throw me 30 songs and only 5 of them are really good, it is not an amazing album. Still, had some catchy tunes and it was just a bit above average. I get the hype. I do not share it at all.

Jesus fucking christ, how do they go from Deep Purple to Nick Drake every one song while maintaining such a level of soul and originality within a debut album?

Completely mesmerized by how amazing this album was, from start to finish not a single bad song, truly a hidden gem.

Pleasantly surpised, genuinely thought it was going to be shit but California Dreamin was one of the most normal songs in the album, it is THAT good.

Definitely too white and christian for my own taste, but it is good.

Mellow, lovely and different are the words I would use to describe this. Suede always rocks it.

If 26 out of the 40 songs you throw at me in a 2-hour and 20 minutes album sound exactly the same I am bitting your carotid off. That being said, it was an incredible album that made me like Oasis.

It was amazing to learn this was their debut album because it was honestly a very pleasant experience.

I have heard some Elliot Smith´s albums before but this one takes the whole damn cake.

Insanely good. Still can not understand how they seamlessly went from punk garage rock to soft rock in just the demos. A must listen.
