Like the instrumentals and how they sound kind of raw. Not so much the vocals, too much "baby baby".

Liked this one. A nice listen. Probably won't come back to listen again often.

Some of these old school blues lyrics sound a bit silly, listening today. But still a good listen.

Couple of bangers. Listened to this a lot during high school, but not in my rotation anymore.

It was a nice listen. A bit more electronic/synth sounds than I expected. I almost liked the vocals more to the instrumentals.

Bit of classic tunes. Didn't mind it but won't listen again on purpose.

Nice western and blues themes. Mellow and mostly slow to mid tempo songs with some quick rock n roll towards the end.

I think I never heard of them before. 60s influenced "sailor rock". Likely won't be in my rotation.

I appreciate some of the anti-war and other folk/country sentiment but this one is not for me.

Liked this one. Reading up on this, turned out it's a 100% live recording. Still enjoyed it very much. Will probably listen again.

Hipster Indie pop, had moments I liked but mostly just can't get into it. I'm sure I would like this more seeing live on stage, but as an album on its own, really not my thing.

Anything that is electro-jazz/swing/tango etc. is a huge miss for me 99% of the time. Only listened 3 tracks from this.

Rap&HipHop are not my thing. The second part of the album was more enjoyable for me. Will not listen again probably.

It was a nice listen but won't be my new favorite. The first half of the album was better plus that 10 minute song later. At the very end, I was getting the impression of 70s&80 rock that's not for me ( like Scorpions and such)

The first track is kind of epic in its own right. But in all this is not for me. It felt like the production was actually pretty good.

Yeah, I don't know. It was all over the place. Every time I heard something that I liked, they changed it up immediately. Not for me.

Yes, this is one for me. Listened to this a lot when younger. Arguably the first half is better with all the bangers

Nice and pleasant listen. Don't know much about bossa nova but feels like this would be a good introduction for anyone. I might revisit if I want ló relax with this type of sound around me.

Liked the titular song and most of it really. Good listen, I was listening to the remastered version though. I can see how it was a huge influence for decades after.

2nd Led Zeppelin in a month. Still not a huge fan. I liked 'Kashmir' and 'The Wanton Song'. And generally like the riffs but I still can't get used to certain elements of singing "Oh Baby" or "Hey Mama".

At fist I was like, I literarily never heard of this band before. And when 'In the Street' came on, I was like, hold on , this is the theme song from 'That 70s Show, but slightly worse. Didn't mind it, but I will forget about this very soon.

Probably the first time I listened to this album in its entirety. I am one of those who enjoy the hits from Nirvana but this album only have a few for me.

Appreciate the instrumentals, nice 60s and 70s psychedelic vibes. The vocals were to funky and artsy. Not for me.

Remember the hits from this album when they came out. There are good grooves and pulls but the genre itself is just not for me. I ended up listening to half of the album.

Once we get into the 80s, I'm kind off done with this pop-rock genre. Either be psychedelic like in the 70s or be heavy as other bands were in the 80s. This one is not for me

It was nice and dreamy. I'm writing this the day after listening and I can barely recall anything to be honest, but I remember enjoying it at the time.

Nice hooks, and nicely produced album with lot's of featuring artists. Because I'm not familiar with the genre and artists sometimes it was hard to keep track of this.

Enjoyed this one. Very cinematic at some parts and a nice blend of modern sounds with some classics. I will likely revisit this artist in the future

I got some 80s/ 90s vibe from this. Like I imagine this is what Pet Shop Boys would sound like if they would sample more guitar sounds. It sounds eclectic with the guitar and other electronica. It just didn't click for me. Listened to only half the album.

Really enjoyed this one. Turns out I already knew some of the songs as some of them were and still are quite popular. Nice to properly associate the artist to the music I've heard before.

Enjoyed this one. Didn't pull me in all the way, but had my attention through the whole album.

About 30mins into the album I noticed I accidentally enabled shuffle, so there goes the 'album experience'. Show me any individual song on it's own and I say yeah, this is fine. But listening to more than 4 is just too much. I didn't finish the album.

I was already familiar with lot of the songs before but not really as a full album. I enjoyed it, and I will likely come around to listen again in the future, which I don't mind. The album itself was surprisingly shorter than I expected with 34 minutes playtime, but the songs were different enough to make it up. I give this a 3 but I think it's very close to a 4 to me, might come back and change it in the future.

I enjoy Bowie, but I'm one of those who mostly listens to the hits and best-of albums . This one was a good listen only 38 minutes so gave another listen straight after the first play. I'll probably keep myself focused on the hit songs.

Enjoyed this one for one listen. I guess this is not my genre as I feel like there wasn't enough variety in the songs so after a while it kind of blended together.

At first, I thought I never listened to The Strokes before. But then I realised this is the sound I heard everywhere during the Indie/Hipster boom after 2000. I like that I can actually hear out the baseline from the mix, most of the time. I didn't mind this album, but I have zero emotional or cultural connection to the sound and themes this album represents. To be fair, I feel a bit weird about it. Like it brings up a certain nostalgia that I should be familiar with but I never actually lived it. I would have given this a 3, but now changing my mind to a 2, because of this forced nostalgia factor.

This would have been a 3 as I enjoyed the tunes. But, having the instrumentals on the left and vocals on the right in the mix is so very annoying.
