Such a classically 70's sound. My mom had this record on vinyl.

Really harsh sound. Not my favorite. But interesting exploration of women's rock in the 90s that covers some serious issues.

Chill. Pretty boring to me but not unpleasant to listen too.

Knew quite a few of the songs! Such a time capsule if this sound.

Fun and also chill! Blues!

I didn't listen to this in 2013 but it is sooo very tumblr era.

So conflicted. Hate the man and hate the lyrics bc they are so misogynistic and narcissistic but the sound isn’t bad

Made me look into rastafarianism and the connections btwn rasta and reggae, r&b, judaism etc. thought provoking

okay? politically relevant to the times and I could hear that in the sound and lyrics but otherwise didn't hear anything that made me think this is iconic.

OG Rap sound. Not my fave. Wildly misogynistic, antisemitic, and homophobic. Crazyyyy

Not super into all the biblical stuff but an interesting look at musical storytelling

Really cool and interesting sound! The ambient noise reminded me of MBV enjoyed the kind of spooky/whiny vocals

I find them so annoying ever since that apple stunt ages ago where everyone automatically had that one album downloaded to their apple library (violation of consent much) but like they do have that very distinct divorced white dad sound

not listening on principle sorry. already listened to one kanye album for this project.
