Ramones by Ramones
Jul 15 2026

can really hear where a lot of the stuff i listen to comes from, some songs don't quite hit for me though

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jul 16 2026

i feel bad because alex loves this album but radiohead are one of those artists i can only really enjoy for about the length of a song, so this did feel a bit of a drag - i can appreciate it though, just not fully enjoy it. Exit Music (For A Film) is a banger of course, and there are other highlights but it mostly doesn't do it for me.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jul 17 2026

a lot of nostalgia tied up in this for me as my dad would have pink floyd on all the time. album flows well and i wasn't bored while listening but equally 1hr20 did feel quite long, but idk how much my brain has been rotted by <20min youth crew albums

Jul 20 2026

I thought I'd enjoy this album a lot more, even despite the seemingly endless additions to the controversy section of his wikipedia page, but I really just found it meh.. My only real highlights bumping this up to a 3* were the features - Nicki Minaj really stole the show on Monster - so I think if the same album existed but with a different rapper I'd enjoy it better. I prefer the youtube mashup album Good Kid Twisted Fantasy (highly recommend) Will I listen again? No.

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Jul 21 2026

loved the vibe of this, possibly enhanced by it being another sunny day. didn't blow me away but equally no qualms. will i listen again ? quite possibly yes

Scream, Dracula, Scream by Rocket From The Crypt
Jul 22 2026

I'm sorry this album is probably really influential or something for being on this list but that vocal style just rubs me the wrong way too much, only made it half of the way through before giving up - i can appreciate what it's doing though so i think 2* is reasonable.. Will i listen again ? definitely not

The Contino Sessions by Death In Vegas
Jul 24 2026

enjoyed this, nowhere near as repetitive as i initially thought it was going to be. some groove some less-groove. will i listen again ? probably as background

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Jul 28 2026

first experience of stevie in album form, really enjoyed ! superstition is one of the most fun to play on guitar hero. will be listening again

Teenager Of The Year by Frank Black
Jul 29 2026

some cool groovy stuff on this, and some of it i just found a bit boring, found myself counting down the songs in the second half, maybe i'll listen again at some point idk

Revolver by Beatles
Jul 31 2026

first time listening to the beatles in album form, and it was good ! but just that, i can appreciate this album but honestly didn't particularly enjoy it, low 4

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Aug 03 2026

enjoyed more than i expected. the songs drag a bit (i don't like guitar solos) but there are some right stompy riffs

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
Aug 05 2026

yeah no this was brill
