Ramones by Ramones
Jul 15 2026

can really hear where a lot of the stuff i listen to comes from, some songs don't quite hit for me though

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jul 16 2026

i feel bad because alex loves this album but radiohead are one of those artists i can only really enjoy for about the length of a song, so this did feel a bit of a drag - i can appreciate it though, just not fully enjoy it. Exit Music (For A Film) is a banger of course, and there are other highlights but it mostly doesn't do it for me.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jul 17 2026

a lot of nostalgia tied up in this for me as my dad would have pink floyd on all the time. album flows well and i wasn't bored while listening but equally 1hr20 did feel quite long, but idk how much my brain has been rotted by <20min youth crew albums

Jul 20 2026

I thought I'd enjoy this album a lot more, even despite the seemingly endless additions to the controversy section of his wikipedia page, but I really just found it meh.. My only real highlights bumping this up to a 3* were the features - Nicki Minaj really stole the show on Monster - so I think if the same album existed but with a different rapper I'd enjoy it better. I prefer the youtube mashup album Good Kid Twisted Fantasy (highly recommend) Will I listen again? No.

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Jul 21 2026

loved the vibe of this, possibly enhanced by it being another sunny day. didn't blow me away but equally no qualms. will i listen again ? quite possibly yes

Scream, Dracula, Scream by Rocket From The Crypt
Jul 22 2026

I'm sorry this album is probably really influential or something for being on this list but that vocal style just rubs me the wrong way too much, only made it half of the way through before giving up - i can appreciate what it's doing though so i think 2* is reasonable.. Will i listen again ? definitely not

The Contino Sessions by Death In Vegas
Jul 24 2026

enjoyed this, nowhere near as repetitive as i initially thought it was going to be. some groove some less-groove. will i listen again ? probably as background

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Jul 28 2026

first experience of stevie in album form, really enjoyed ! superstition is one of the most fun to play on guitar hero. will be listening again

Teenager Of The Year by Frank Black
Jul 29 2026

some cool groovy stuff on this, and some of it i just found a bit boring, found myself counting down the songs in the second half, maybe i'll listen again at some point idk

Revolver by Beatles
Jul 31 2026

first time listening to the beatles in album form, and it was good ! but just that, i can appreciate this album but honestly didn't particularly enjoy it, low 4

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Aug 03 2026

enjoyed more than i expected. the songs drag a bit (i don't like guitar solos) but there are some right stompy riffs

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
Aug 05 2026

yeah no this was brill

Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper
Aug 07 2026

ngl i always thought alice cooper was some weird marilyn manson type shit so that was an instant win. lost me a bit towards the end

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Aug 10 2026

perfectly adequate album, i have no real qualms - closer to a 3 than a 5, i just so happen to really enjoy a blues scale

Is This It by The Strokes
Aug 11 2026

is this it ? no, not really - didn't hate it but didn't really get much out of it either. couple of bangers but that's only really because even i know them

Queen Of Denmark by John Grant
Aug 13 2026

fell asleep for a bit then realised i didn't care

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Aug 18 2026

really enjoyed the first few tracks and also gone daddy gone but the rest was meh

Aug 19 2026

Blart Side of the Mall in which Paul Blart Mall Cop perfectly syncs up with this album

Scum by Napalm Death
Aug 20 2026

i respect this album, you know you're gonna get some nonsensical bullshit and that's exactly what you get - feels more like a really long demo rather than an album and i'd want more out of it to call it a good album

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Aug 21 2026

a vibe from start to finish, even with the fart compilation

Smash by The Offspring
Aug 24 2026

no strong feelings about this

Aug 25 2026

there used to be an old guy in manchester who'd go round shouting "i'm johnny cash" at people and after listening to this i think i believe him

Da Capo by Love
Aug 26 2026

it's fine

Trio by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

rip a queen, kinda loved this probably closer to a 5 than a 3

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Aug 28 2026

appreciated but stadium rock is just not at all my thing

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Aug 31 2026

enjoyed it more as time went on, still didn't love it though, closer to a 4 than a 2

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Sep 01 2026

i mean i didn't hate it, but definitely didn't like it enough for over an hour of it

Forever Changes by Love
Sep 02 2026

this is indeed the album Forever Changes by the band Love released in 1967

I Against I by Bad Brains
Sep 04 2026

was not expecting bad brains to appear on this list, their self titled is a 10/10 but this is utter dogshite
