1001 Albums Summary

2,5 rounded up

This is a great album. Kanye is mentally ill wich makes some of the reviews here a bit weird to read. Yes he has expressed horrible views but he is sick and wether you like it or not, he makes great music.

Every breath är bra. Men vad hände med brontosaurus och bongotrummor? Nej tack.

Like a mix of psalms and lullaby's written by a 12 year old who fell in love for the first time.

Ok enough album with some good songs. Minus for being a total replica of Oasis. He even sounds exactly like Liam.

Some good songs, some absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible

Slightly more tolerable than Coltrane.

No song needs to be 9 minutes long.

Boring christmasmusic

Had 2 strokes listening to this. Did they just throw metal buckets at eachother?

Every song is good, absolutely fantastic album!

I understand that Elvis was huge during this period and I mostly know his music from what you hear without looking. He has some good songs but none on this album. Its just, kinda boring?

Quite horrible. 12 minute repetitive songs that made my cat stressed.

Some good songs, but most are quite forgettable.

Some good instrumentals, singing is.. unpleasant. I cant stand songs 10-12 minutes long. This was a struggle. And not very good.

Tried to like it but I mean.. Its just 2 different songs with bland lyrics over and over.

I mean she can sing, but its just incredibly bland and boring.

I get she is a legend but this kind of music feels kind of simple. Nothing sticks, nothing is original.

I mean its not bad but its boring. Some interesting instrumentals but lyrics are uninteresting and singing is.. Bland. Just bland all of it.

Close to 5. Makes you feel things, which to me, is the point of music.

Almost perfect

I get this is innovative but its really hard to listen to. I normally like rap.

Nice, but not supernice

Its pretty decent but very specific. Requires the right surroundings.

After synchronicity I was full of dread. Less brontosaurus on this album but still.. A few are decent but the rest is absolute shit. The song reggatta de blanc is like a bad joke. The songs vary between some sort of "white reggae" mixed with something I cant even describe. Feel violated.

Songs 7 minutes long piss me off, but not as much as men singing about 14 year old girls. Other than that i absolutely hate it.

Really liked this

Really liked this. Emotional, soft and nice. -1 star for low variety.

Liked 1 song. Rest felt uninspired, not very creative, boring. His singing is weirdly performative.

Pleasant, 3,5 for me.

Surprised how much I liked this

Lyrics are infantile and bland. Singing is.. bad. Mostly talking but still out of tune. Boring, gives nothing to take with you. Gets a 2 since there is so much worse stuff on this list.

I can sometimes like this genre but this is just really boring. Like a commercial for taco chicken products.

Fantastic

Tom Petty have some great songs but this album is surprisingly uninteresting.

This is both nice, boring, original and repetitive at once. Cant decide. Also, the songs are too long.

Good if youre angry

Really nice, cant explain why.

Some good songs but mostly not very interesting to me.

Nice, but not really great is it. Leaves nothing behind.

This is fantastic and if you disagree you are wrong

I understand that they where inventive at the time, but I have a hard time with the happy clappy tunes that are their signum. Only song i like is not on this album.

This is nice and generally smooth. Maybe a little to smooth. Gets a bit repetitive. Almost 4, but lands a 3.

Paul Simon is always good. Not his best album but still.

Great
