Good album but arguably worse than the one before and the one after it.

Undeniable quality.

I've always thought "Rumours" was a little flat beyond the songs everyone knows. "Tusk" was a welcome surprise. It overstays its welcome for sure, but I enjoyed it.

It's enjoyable, but a bit too mellow towards the end. Not for me.

The only problem with this album is that it ends.

I can appreciate it, but it's not exactly my cup of tea. A bit too much on the soft side.

Not the best Primal Scream album, but far from their worst. Very soundtrack-y in spots. But that's not a bad thing at all.

Absolute classic. Probably their best record. Feels like a classic rock album updated for the present. It has aged wonderfully.

If somebody put this on, I wouldn't mind it. But I'd rather listen to something else. Perhaps if I paid attention to the lyrics I'd like it more.

Maybe this is amazing when you pay attention to the lyrics, but I did not. As it stands, I straight up did not enjoy this listen. I didn't like the orchestral swells. The occasional "talk-singing" style didn't do it for me either. I can usually appreciate some qualities of a record that isn't my cup of tea, but this one didn't do it for me.

I don't need to relisten to this. It's almost the perfect Zeppelin album. A track or two might not work for you, but the rest more than makes up for it.
