1001 Albums Summary

Symppathy for the Devil is one of my favorite songs. The rest were too country for my taste.

Heroes is a great song, the rest were kinda meh

She can sing any genre and the boldness of her lyrics, especially 4 women was striking.

This album is very Steely Dan and that's all not exceptional you hear it and go yup that's Steely Dan

How to describe Steely Dan ? Prog jazz? Yacht funk? A very different style All of their best songs on one album

I went college in a city with a thriving local music scene and many of my favorite bands sounded just like this. The first song reminded me of Emmett Otters Jugband
