Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Aug 19 2026

Banger funk

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Aug 20 2026

Despite what Chris says, I don't absolutely hate The Temptations. Didn't absolutely love this album either though. Probably historically important but there's other music from this period I like better

Who's Next by The Who
Aug 21 2026

Classic, if you can only listen to one Who album, this is it

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Aug 24 2026

Chris' famous take on this album is that it's the best pop album of all time. Don't know if I can disagree with that

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Aug 25 2026

I have a core memory of Pat passed out on Tony and Almu's couch last Thanksgiving. Alison came on and everyone started drunkingly singing. Halfway through, Pat belted out "ALLLLLLLLISON" and then promptly passed out again. Good song and good album

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

I love Dolly for her showmanship, and I love old country for it's grittiness. This leans more to the gritty side but it doesn't hit for me as much as other old country does. Still good in it's own right though

Trafalgar by Bee Gees
Aug 28 2026

Didn't know the Bee Gees could be so sad. I don't know if I love it. I'm curious why it's on this list, maybe I'm missing some historical context

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Aug 31 2026

I've listened to this a couple times before. I'm not a huge reggae guy unfortunately

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Sep 01 2026

Hello High School Turner, it's been many years since we've last spoken. Still more of a Wish You Were Here guy though. Wouldn't be surprised to find Dark Side on this list later. Also don't listen to Chris when he tries to tell you early Pink Floyd is better. He's insane and cannot be reasoned with.

Sep 03 2026

Helllllll yeah, my favorite 90s, non-DOOM, hip-hop album. I really need to get this on vinyl

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Sep 07 2026

Been a while since I've listened to anything from Janis. What a voice

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Sep 09 2026

I like Elvis. And I really like the big comeback show he had in 68 right before this. It's not the most mind-blowing album, but it's good, classic Elvis after a crazy part of his life. And then like a month later he was stuck in Vegas forever. F

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Sep 10 2026

Oooooooh yeah here we go. Gets an extra star for the guitar rift on Money for Nothing. Walk of Life is the easy second favorite on here

Ten by Pearl Jam
Sep 11 2026

Nice, first Pearl Jam and I kinda get it

Smash by The Offspring
Sep 14 2026

Not my favorite flavor of music but it's not bad

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Sep 15 2026

Michael Jackson was good at making music. And I think that's all I'll say on that subject

Being There by Wilco
Sep 16 2026

Absolutely floored to hear Someone Else's Song and recognize it from a song in Team Fortress 2 lmao

NEU! 75 by Neu!
Sep 17 2026

I'm into it. I wish it was a little more fast paced though

Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow
Sep 18 2026

Not bad Sheryl. Idk how often I'd go back to this, but I enjoyed the journey. All I Wanna Do is the standout

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Sep 21 2026

Banger banger banger banger banger. The Beastie Boys are full of bangers

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Sep 22 2026

Does everyone have an old person in their life with a Sinatra story or is that just an east coast thing?

Melodrama by Lorde
Sep 23 2026

I've learned recently that I'm not a sad girl

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Sep 24 2026

Hot music take: Jack White good

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Sep 28 2026

Why do I not like this? I feel like I should with the era, the fact it's Prince, and the cool production. It all comes together and I don't necessarily care for it.

Ace of Spades by Motörhead
Sep 30 2026

Reminds me of guitar hero

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Oct 01 2026

Never really listened to Robbie before. I think I get it having come from that era. Angels is good and I love the showmanship of Let Me Entertain You
