Troublegum is the fourth studio album by the Northern Irish rock band Therapy?, released on 7 February 1994 by A&M Records. The album features a more punk-oriented style after the success of "Screamager", and is compared to Stiff Little Fingers and the Undertones after the band's previous noise rock-influenced works. It was promoted with several singles, most of which received promo videos. Troublegum is the band's most successful album, selling over one million copies worldwide; Kerrang! rated it as the best album of 1994.

I didn’t think I was interested in punk-oriented Northern Irish rock. But this album rocks! Terrific!

I think I have avoided this band because of their name. This is good stuff, punky and fun
Cool album
This one is really driving me crazy because I'm sure I knew this band back in the day. The name is very familiar. I'm confident that I've seen that (slightly disturbing) album cover before too. I think that I very likely listened to parts of this album when I was a teenager but I can't say for sure. Maybe it just sounds familiar because it's so very 90s. It feels like harder take on the indie rock scene at the time, or maybe a more aggressive take on grunge. I don't know. I did enjoy it, but I have this odd deja vu feeling about it, like maybe it's tapped into some nostaglic feeling that I can't quite remember properly. Whatever it is, the addition of a Joy Division cover definitely didn't hurt.

Decent if not wholly memorable grungy rock LP. Not one for the super-heavy mids on the guitar throughout, but the tracks were enjoyable enough that it didn’t put me off. Really went in one ear and out the other, good execution but I’m not seeing the 1001-worthiness on this one.

I feel like docking this a point for the disgusting cover art alone. Comes off very much in the lineage of Irish punk/post-punk/ thrash/hardcore/ metal &etc. I see the Stiff Little Fingers comparison though the sound is more refined to my ears, drifting into dare I say Nu--Metal territory. A little too serious. I didn't hate it.
